I was sitting at my desk today and my friend Matt came up and put a DVD on my desk and said, "You wanted to see my brother Sean fight, didn't you?" I looked down and it said Sean "the cannon" Gannon VS. Kimbo Slice... I know the kid. He's a Boston cop and knew he did MMA in the past but Now I can say I know someone who KO'd Kimbo... What a grueling fight!!! :o

I saw some of Kimbo's other "fights" he''s a real bully. Glad he came up against someone his own size.

seen this long ago, kimbo got owned. kimbos crew kept trying to make up rules during the fight but what ever rule they throw out there ganon still whoop his a4s.
It took me 10 minutes to reply to this thread after watching the video.
The first 9 and a half minutes were spent rolling around the ground laughing at Kimbo's technique and stamina.
The last 30 seconds were spent typing this.
hahahaha... I saw it on a DVD so it was better quality but you still don't get to see the damage to Kimbo's face! ???

I agree with the people talking about Kimbos crew trying to create some type for Kimbo.
If you notice when Kimbos crew 1st jumps in to break them up is when they are on top of the mat/carboard or whatever it is, cause Gannon has Kimbo on the floor.
According to Team Kimbo there are a few rules in these street fights they set up to be honest I don't know them to the exact content but I know theres no using of knees, striking while a mans down no choking and other stuff.
Then Kimbo escapes and now Kimbos on top of Gannon hailing away and NOW that Kimbos on top Team Kimbo (crew) NOW they are OK with it and they let it go on.
They then stand up and do their thing and when they are against the wall I think Gannon uses his knee and thats when Team Kimbo again jumps in and creates some time for Kimbo.
Truth is Kimbo IS NOT a athletic specimen, hes not durable and you can see that.
Hes just a big mo' fo' who build up muscle in jail and has won a few street fights against guys who had NO CHANCE against him.
That one bouncer he fought got a good shot on him and dropped Kimbo back. Something happened to can't remember exactly what but the guys wearing camouflage pant's...
Kimbop catches him with some good punches and the guy literally falls in a position like if hes going to sleep. :lolhaha:
Kimbo HAS TO knock you out within something like from seconds to about 5 minutes or else he tires out.
Thats why he rarely wastes punches and he picks his shots cause he knows he ain't got much in the tank.
And that is why I think Mercers gonna KhimTFO!!!
How does kimbo expect to handle mercers power?
And in relation to his stamina...We saw him box for about a minute and he got tired, mercer can slug 4-5 rounds no problem!

Kimbo was just insanely stronger than Mercer, and more importantly, a LOT younger. You can see that Kimbo's standup was doing nothing to Mercer though...not even the knees. Mercer was just gonna weather the storm and let him blow his wad. Unfortunately, he forgot that Kimbo worked his ground game while he apparently hadn't.
Also, in the Gannon v Kimbo fight, the rules were established as "No kicking and no ground fighting." Kneeing isn't technically kicking (although you could argue either side of that one) and a standing guillotine isn't "ground fighting." Kimbo's team just set up poor rules. Either way, he got his ass beat by somebody who later got destroyed by Hinkle in the UFC.
I still stand by my opinion that a younger Mercer would have eaten Kimbo, even on the ground a younger Mercer would have a lot more power

Mercer was one of those guys who really got geed up for the big fights. This was a sad end for him, but you can't really take away from a very good career.
