ill admit im a self confessed hatton nut hugger. im in therapy for it now. ha . but seriously to those who saw the hatton that beat tszyu. who out of the current boxers today from the light welterweight to welweight divisions do you see beating that hatton.

Honestly...I think that Castillo is going to have a great shot at beatin the stuffins outta Hatton...but I aint a Castillo fan.
At lightwelter Hatton is the man, although I think at the time that Hatton beat Tszyu, Castillo if he had in fact been at 140 would have had a great brawlers chance, PBF would have been too slick and his skill combined with his reach as well as his power at that weight would have posed MAJOR problems for Hatton. Cotto is another fighter that would definately put the screws to the hitman. While Cotto at that time was still young and learning you need only to look at the faces of his opponents around that era to see how powerful he was (and indeed still is today) compare the the way Kostya looked after he fought Hatton compared to how Abdulev, Malignaggi et. al. looked after Cotto.
At 147, I don't think Hatton would be able to stay competitive there are too many guys with HUGE reach advantages and natural power advantages, I can't see Ricky getting inside against say Paul Williams, or even Margarito for that matter, the only fighter that Ricky wouldn't have a overwhelming disadvantage against (talking top tier welters mind you) is Cotto as their reaches are near the same. Cotto would destroy Ricky IMO.
Mosely, Tony, Williams, Cotto, Judah, Floyd etc. anyone of these at 147. And as far as 140, I'll reserve judgement until the JLC fight.

I think Ricky is the one to beat PBF. Im a Hatton fan yes, but over the past number of years i feared that if they met PBF would tame the W. But to be honest, and im not jus saying this out of ignorance, i really do feel hatton's style would b perfect to negate Floyds defence and we all must admit Floyd does not like the taste of bodyshots.

Oscar, PBF, Shane Mosely, to me these guys definately beat hatton on that night.
The Hatton that beat Tackie was better.
But it seems like there is a bunch of Ricky Hattons now too ;D

Honestly i believe the Tszyu that fought Hatton was still world class and would have beaten most of the competition out there. I think Cotto would beat Tszyu (same way hatton did) but i think Tszyu could do what he did to Zab to PBF
