If Judah loses to cotto...
Why doesnt he go back to 140 and fight the winner of Hatton-Castillo? Does he find it too hard to make 140? I think if he loses he never will have a chance to be a champ at 147 right?
-
Re: I Judah loses to cotto...
why would 3 consecutive losses give Zab the rite to fight the winner of Hatton Jlc, I think the cotto fight is last chance sallon for judah
-
Re: I Judah loses to cotto...
to be honest bro if Judah went to 140 he would be the biggest name there apart from Hatton and Castillo right?

What gave him the right to get a shot at Cotto?

Re: I Judah loses to cotto...
I think Hatton should stay well clear of Judah he has always struggled with southpaws and Judah is a dangerous southpaw.

still i think it would be a good fight to see at 140 in terms of names etc. i would be up for seeing that one!
-
Re: I Judah loses to cotto...
Yes so would i but i think Hattons manager or ect should not have him fight Judah Hatton struggles badly with southpaws and light hitting Collazo had him out on his feet i would have him stay well away from Judah.

Re: If Judah loses to cotto...
he struggled once against a tough champion being LC. he underestimated him and surely if Hatton knew he was fighting a guy like Zad Judah he would train a lot harder. But i dont agree about struggling with southpaws, he BATTERED! Urango and he was a southpaw.

Yes maybe there were reasons for Collazo but still he was rocked by a light hitting Collazo its well known Hatton always struggled with southpaws even in his amateur career he was dropped by a southpaw aswell and he held on to Urango after 6th round and Urango wasn't exactly a dangerous southpaw was he ??

He might of been holding on to Urango, but ill tell you this it was still winning the rounds right? He did what he had to, to win the fight and i was happy with that.

Re: If Judah loses to cotto...
But thats not what im trying to say im saying Urango isn't dangerous opponent let alone dangerous southpaw even ask the die hard Hatton fans there tell you the same he has always had problems with southpaws.

But its not all about struggling, its about working on what you struggle with so that you can do better and fight the bigger names. i think if he did get to 140 Hatton-Judah would be an awesome, maybe Hatton struggling would give the fight entertainment value, not always thinking o hatton struggles with them...HE is going to lose, if you get me?

Im not saying it wouldn't be exciting but if i was handling Hatton i would have him well away from Judah because theres strong posssibility he could stop Hatton so you gotta look at it from that point of view yes great for the fans but if Hattons team were smart they would have him stay clear of Judah

but say IF he did go down a weight got some wins under his belt...you can see that Judah-Hatton would want the fans would want to see right ?

Re: If Judah loses to cotto...
Maybe Tam but if i was handling Hatton i would duck Zab aslong as possible hopefully for Hatton Judah loses to Cotto because he has better chance at Cotto than he does at Judah imo.

Either would be good, i was mainly thinking in terms of Judah. Because Hatton 'struggling' with southpaws might make him want to go back to 140 and fight him. Hatton is the man to beat at 140 and if he beats Castillo his name will get even bigger, maybe its an option Zab might be thinking...

Re: If Judah loses to cotto...
I'm a big Hatton fight, and while he has problems with Southpaws, I personally feel he's fought southpaws who are stronger than him. Judah, is not. It'd be a good test to see if Hatton could handle Floyd. He'd have to punch Zab to the ropes and work the body. If he did that, Zab's speed isn't a factor and Hatton wins. It'd be interesting I feel. Hatton would win though.

Re: If Judah loses to cotto...
yep well if hatton wins this i would say he's right up there as an elite fighter and can be classed in a higher tier than Judah. He's defo the main man at 140

Zab would be hardest hitting southpaw Hatton has ever fought.

I don't agree. Collazo is a puncher and Urango is a tank. Zab's power is overrated. I'm prob gunna piss all the Judah fans off, but imo, he's waaaaaaaaay overrated. How anyone thinks he deserves this shot at Cotto is beyond me. I also don't believe Hatton stands a better chance with Cotto than with Zab. Cotto can bang, and I think he could beat Hatton.

Firstly Collazo has 27 wins and 13 kos he is not a puncher and was never considered to be and Urango has 17 wins a 13 kos yes he was big but again not really considered a puncher Judah hits way harder than both and im not a Judah fan.

I phrased the Collazo thing wrong. I didn't mean a puncher, but he's a natural Welter, so he's bigger and has more power. Zab is smaller and imo, has less power and most of his KO's have come at a lesser weight.

Re: If Judah loses to cotto...
Collazo is pretty weak puncher even if he is naturally bigger Judah still hits harder and is faster than Collazo.

Re: If Judah loses to cotto...
Judah is a dangerous fighter - I can't stand him, but he has a hell of a lot of ability. I think he has plenty of pop, and obviously he's fast...I'd love to see him and Hatton go at it, although I think it would be a similar fight to Judah/Cotto.

Agreed! :coolclick: #962 for making your disagreement a discussion rather than an argument. Too many people on here take their points too seriously.
