This is a good fight for the Latin Snake! He is still largely untested. Although he has gone 19 fights he has no blemish on his record. He needs to start uping his game now tho!!!

Good choice of opponent. They seem pretty evenly matched to me, this is a guarenteed decision fight , neither have the k.o. power to stop the other. I think Joval gets outboxed, I dont know if Sergio has a chin, but if he can take Manfredo's shots I think he can take Jovals no prob.

I'm still a little soar about his second fight with Manfredo. I really feel Mangfredo won that fight. I hope Joval cleans his clock but I don't know enough about him to make an asessment.

Joval will be Mora's hardest fight to date. He is a very solid fighter and fought at a higher level than Mora. I havent seen Mora fight aside from the Manfredo fights so who knows how good he really is. Joval CAN hurt Mora and will if he makes mistakes or gets cocky.

Joval is an all around well schooled fighter who could give Mora problems.
Joval has a strong chin, enough energy and a never say die mentality.
That's why he is loved by the boxing community in Holland

I'm no Mora fan, but he despite the fact that he has no power, he probably is a legit top 10 MW, so for you, who has likely never had his hands taped in his life to call Mora a p*ssy is recockulous. You get an SC. And I think you're like the second sc i've ever given out.

Mora pulling out of the taylor fight still really dissapoints me......he jumps out from the contender and has only faced contender type competiton at best since.....now all of the sudden he gives off the impression like he is in a position to call shots like there is something huge to be gained by someone beating him.....i hope joval comes out with his little blond afro halo thing and whoops his ass.....although i do belive it will be a 12 round decision that can go either way.....

I really didn't think you care if I give you an SC. By my similar +/- ratio, it's pretty clear that I don't care if I get SC'd either. The point I was trying to illustrate is that if you're getting SC'd by me, you've made a pretty rediculous statement. Sergio did the right thing. He ain't ready for a world title shot yet, he's not even had 20 fights yet.

Give him time.

He's already beaten Ishe Smith, Manfredo twice, Jesse Brinkley, Erick Regan and Turmeliksetian.

Its's way beyond where Ricky Hatton was at after 19 fights.

I dont think Mora beats Ishe smith in a 12 round fight. I think he got kinda lucky the first time he fought him

If Ishe fought Mora the same way he fought Sechew Powell I'm fairly sure Mora would get a decsion.

Ishe's got skills but he don't work. Sergio, hate him or not always gives 100% of himself in a fight and is constantly throwing.

I know his punches have no power but he could still outwork and outbox Ishe over 10 or 12 rounds.

Just wanted to point out that Joval is not a former world champ. He's a pretty good fighter, top ten contender, but he was never a world champion. I don't think Mora will be either. Should be a good fight.

No I don't agree at all. Sergio wasn't scared he was just thinking smart. He knew he wouldn't get a decision in Memphis and was unhappy with the last minute switch of venue so he turned it down.

To me that wasn't the mark of a scared man, it was actually evidence of his self belief and confidence that he can make a mark in boxing.

If he didn't think he had a chance to win a world title he would have gone for the payday and grabbed the first title shot that came along before he got exposed fighting a top 10 ranked fighter for a lot less money.

I like Sergio and think he has a chance beating some of the top guys at 160 lbs. His career s coming along nicely although he could be a little more active.

What boxer in their right might doesnt think he has a chance to win, he said before turning down taylor that he could stand with him, he could give him a hell of a fight. Its sad when a fighter doesnt have enough confidence in himself that he has to use a LOCATION to opt out of a fight. Location location, its bullshit.
