I think the big question is whether Pavlik is ready, if he is we will be hearing the words:
The new middleweight champion of the world
also coming by way of knockout. +1Quote:

Nice. This is the first time that DiBella has opened his mouf with something that I totally agreed with.
Honestly…all though I am & have been disgusted with Taylor of late…a win over Pavlik could rejuvenate our Current Middleweight Champ’s career.
If you stop & think about it open headedly…if Taylor get’s up for this fight & has his head & heart into it…he could probably handle Pavlik. Miranda was a very VERY limited boxer…sure he had power & all that crap…but if Taylor get’s his game up…he could outbox Pavlik.
If Taylor continues to stagnate as he has over the last two years…I’d love to see a changing of the guard.
y is he sayin hes ready, hes the champ hes posed to be ready that makes him sound like a challanger
6 to 5 odds Pavlik any takers .
Taylor will pick apart Pavlik O0
Taylor will beat Pavlik in 12 rounds.
Wow you guys sound so sure that Taylor can take Pavliks puneshment. Taylor is a chump. Worst champ since Tiger.
Who is apliks promotor?Quote:

yeah i think Taylor will beat Pavlik also.
To beat Pavlik, Taylor is going to have to listen to Manny and do what Manny asks.
#1 DOMINATE WITH THE JAB
#2 Punch and get out of danger
#3 be out of Pavlik's range or too close for him to do damage.
That's my fight plan for JT.
For Kelly it's simple ATTACK!
It depends on which taylor shows up....the old taylor will beat pavlik easily, this current taylor will get knocked out.
I think they are counting on the boxing fan's to expect the casual, man who beat the man to kick in. As everyone was very high on Miranda. But Taylor is no Miranda, he is better in every way except for power. Taylor should outbox Pavlik and then people will be high on Taylor again and forget his last two performances. I won't. Pavlik is a much easier fight for Taylor then people think. However, Pavlik is the main guy, so I am very happy and glad that Taylor is fighting the main guy and I can't fault Taylor for the style of Pavlik so I give Jermain Taylor a lot of credit. I'm just preparing my stomach for how overhyped HBO is gonna make that win seem as if Jermain beat Mike Tyson or something
I like Taylor in this fight. how can you go against a guy who has fought Hopkins twice and Wright once. The only question I have is why Taylor seems to fight at the level of his opponents. Alot of guys who do that sometimes lose just because they get caught. Hearns was a great fighter who fought at the level of the guys he fought. He would fight guys like Dewitt and struggle a little and then fight Virgil Hill and do better with Hill than with Dewitt. Never understood that. He fought better with better guys.
Because I think some boxers need that opponent they know they can loose to, to be motivated and be at their best. It's not that they consciously take these other opponents lightly necessarily they may still go thru the same training camp and what not, but subconciously there is probably something in the back of their head that says that they can beat this lesser opponent easily, where as if they fight a top guy they KNOW they better be at their best or they won't win.
I think Taylor right now is being very under estimated. The pros don't put him in the top ten almost unanimously for nothing.
Yeah but styles make fights, and people base opinions on last performances. He has never fought someone like Pavlik. Although I do think JT ca win this fight, with his jab.Quote:

I ment at the moment Taeth because Wright has moved up.Quote:

Especially by a Smaller Uoma and a smaller Wright. What do you think Pavlik will do. Pavlik tore clean through the most feared fighter in the division. I think that leaves a mental imprint on you. I know it made me nervous.Quote:
