I like Rocky 1 and all other 5 ;)
Sin City or the Prestige...hands down two of the greatest flicks made.
You said forget boxing. ;D
There's no law stating that if you are a boxing fan you have to love Rocky. I pretty much hated the Rocky flicks...liked the first one & the one with the Dolph. Really REALLY loved Cinderella Man, though. ;D
Wacko mate i said 100% forget boxing ;) ;D
PULP FICTION
Bruce Willis as a boxer and killed that guy in the ring.
He killed John Travolta too while taking a sh!t.
The pawn shop scene too is very intense.
Lots of sh!ts in that movie that made it pretty intense.
"Zed's Dead" ;D
Clockwork Orange
The Matrix, I'm a total sci-fi junkie.
"Bring out da gimp!"Quote:

Yep. Clockwork is awesome. I love Kubrick.Quote:

2001 Space Odyssey is a good one too but pretty long.....Hal is my favorite villain of all time
I loved 2001...hated the follow up...but loved the first one. The monolith was quite an interesting concept.Quote:

As for a classic I just watched a Marlon Brando flick called 'Down on the Waterfront' it has a boxing written all over Brando and it really comes out in the end. It's worth watching even with all the neat movies coming out everyday.
The Godfather I, II, III
Boondock Saints
First Knight
Rocky IV
Rocky Balboa
Robocop
Boondock is a classic & I loved all the Godfather flicks...the second one did it for me the best though.Quote:

I like loads of stuff.
Saving Private Ryan is hands down my favorite movie
A "fov" of mine is The Apsotle starring Robert Duvall.
A truly great film....when it came out in theaters we had WWII vets stand up and address the audience before it started.Quote:

Yeah man, I have a huge interest military history (that's how cool I am :P), in particular WW2. I was 16 or 17 when the movie came out I was it in the theaters with a few friends. I could not fucking believe how gory the opening 20 minutes where, though now I think it could've been even more realistic... Anyways, there's a old vet beside us and after the movie the poor bastards got tears steaming down his cheeks, he must've been 80. That was shocking...Quote:

I also liked...
The Gods Must Be Crazy
Cape Fear (DeNiro Version)
War movies bother me. Too real for me, but I think my favorite is Bat 21.
Well Hostel and Saw bother me...those movies are sickening.Quote:

Do you remember Casualties of War with Micheal J. Fox and Sean Penn? It popped into my head but I cannot recall anything about it.Quote:

Basically MJF plays the good guy Sean Penn and John C. Riley are the underlings of the bad guy, I forget his name....and they kill and rape innocent Vietnamese and MJF basically has a mental breakdown
CC. Thats what I'm talking about! Cape Fear is my favorite movie aside from comedies of all time. Is it so wrong that I root for Max Cady in that movie every time I watch it?Quote:
