I like Castillo but he doesnt have the same power at this weight and backing Hatton up is hard enough to do. I think hell have some early sucess, but I have no doubt that Hatton will come out on top. Castillos experience may be the only way he can go all 12 rounds imo, but well see. He does have a shot.
I wanna pick him, but I saw his last fight and he looked a bit off. If he comes in off a good training camp I think he can stop Hatton if he works the body early like he usually does. Ricky really got slowed when Urango hit him some good body shots. No reason to think Castillo wouldnt be up for this one. He may have overlooked Ngoudjo, I had him losing that fight.
If you really pick Castillo and believe in it then I want a SIG BET!
I like Castillo by UD.
Hatton has really been preparing his body for Castillo's body shots.....no way he loses on account of that. Not with castillo at 140.
Castillo will give a good fight and I dont think hatton will impress. But I think hatton will win UD.
I don't think either one will get knocked down. It will be an entertaining fight though
Probably a lot of wrestling and bumping. Castillo gonna get frustrated cause hatton will tie him up all night long.
I am going out on a limb by saying castillo by KO 10th round
Castillo stops him in 8Quote:

I think its a 50/50 fight, it could go either way. A little off topic, is it a PPV fight? Because they're showing it on TSN (basic cable) here.
No, it's a regular HBO fight, not PPV.Quote:

I was in Montreal the night of the Miranda-Pavlik, Taylor-Spinks card, and TSN was showing the fights, but it was on an hour delay.
Hatton stops Castillio early 4 maybe 5 rounds , should be exciting match
You really think so? How do you see the fight panning out mate?Quote:

Just like I said before I think the fight will go the full 12 but Hatton will wear Castillo down with his pressure and take the UD. Castillo has never hit the matt in his career so I cant see him getting knocked out but I think He will take some serious punishment from Hatton. I think both fighters need a stirling performance, Hatton looks in great shape for this and I hear Castillo has been training harder then ever. Me thinks its gonna be a good un, cant wait!!
Hatton will have too much for Castillo and will ko him in the 8th. Then to fight the winner of Harris-Witter.
I believe that Hatton will surprise Castillio with his power and speed. the rush will be too much Castllio as he will be the one backed up. Castillio will want distance, he will want some space in this match to have a chance. Don’t think he’ll get it. . I think Hatton will hurt JLC early, Castillio will be on auto pilot for a few rounds before being knocked out for good.Quote:

Don't be shocked if Castillo gets up. I was reading Ndou's prediction and it makes sense.
Lovemore Ndou says the ``old Jose Luis Castillo’’ (right against Diego Corrales) only needs to show up in Las Vegas on Saturday night to hand Ricky Hatton his first loss in 43 pro fights.

I pick Hatton, but the way I have been picking fights lately that probably means Castillo will win. Hatton is fresher -but I admit that Castillo can punch a little. He is not a huge puncher and that knockout percentage is probably helped by fighting lesser caliber early in his career.Quote:

Im with Lords on this.
If Castillo comes prepared its gonna be a long night for Ricky. Im gonna blame the long lay-off for his performance against Ngoudjo. You guys really think Ricky brings more pressure than Casamayor, Mayweather, and Corrales? Im picking later rounds k.o. for Castillo, left hooks all night to the body.
hard to say...I think both fighters are fading fast...which one has fallen the most?.....I think Castillo moving up might help him...but will it slow him down?....hatton is going on 50......but is it a George Foreman 50?...........if the fight is in england I'm going with Hatton because he will foul Castillo at least 50 times and not be reprimanded for it....Quote:
