Hatton v Castillo - The Drunken Weight by Weight.

Okay, with about 40 minutes to go until both fighters are scheduled to weigh in, what do you guys reckon we're going to see in the weigh in. They're both gonna be much bigger than they are this afternoon come fight time, but will they both make 147.

Already, rumours are flying that Castillo hasn't made the weight, and Ricky's always been partial to a fine beer and a burger, so where will they both step on the scales? If you see reports from that weigh-in, please post them here, and I'll be checking out fightnews with auto-refresh every 30 seconds. And you betcha, I been drinkin.g

He better make the weight (i can't see him not as he was only 3lbs over around 5 days ago)

I got three weeks until my next DRBR in July, so f**k yeah we're havieng a drunken weight by weight. As you may well know...it doesn't take much to get me on the way....FFS I celebrated the most unlikely win ever when Maccarinelli beat Bobby "Machine" Gunn!

We are on about Castillo not making the weight, but what if Hatton doesnt make the weight wonder if Castillo would still wanna take the fight?

hatton says if he dont make the weight he'll pull out

If Hatton doesn't make the weight then I reckon Castillo will be entirely within his rights to tell Hatton where to shove his fight. But I reckon Castillo would want to take the fight and he needs to be making money, if reports that he's broke are accurate.

Anyone else watching the repeat of Malignaggi v Ndou on Sky, it's a good fight, though N'dou looks pretty old in there at the moment. I reckon the weigh in will be a bit of a show, so I'm not expecting too many weight reports to hit us straight away at 10.30...might take 15 minutes, or possibly more. CCs to all on board by the way ;)

I got my Boxing sports feed as supplied by the Memph on the other page but i think Kasabian are on Glastonbury at 11 on BBC 2.

How bad is N'dou, he just walking in straight lines throwing wild hooks, Ricy would be to much for Mallinaggi if you ask me.

Fight fans are invited to attend the weigh-in for Saturday's showdown between two-division world champion Ricky "Hitman" Hatton (42-0, 30 KOs) and two-time WBC lightweight champion Jose Luis Castillo (55-7-1, 47 KOs) on Friday at Caesars Palace. Go to Palace Ballrooms I & II, located on the 4th Floor of the Convention Complex (3570 Las Vegas Boulevard South.) Hatton and Castillo will step on the scale at 2:30PM PT. The undercard weigh-in will begin at approximately 3PM PT.

Yeah, Ndou is about as one-sided as Wacko's DRBR made it sound last week. The weigh in was scheduled to begin at 2.30pm Vegas time, but no news as yet.

Pauli knocked Ndou down in the 9th with a nice fast right hand to side of face he wasnt hurt.Ref isnt helping Ndous case keeps breaking them when they close.Malignaggi is to fast and just to good a boxer.Ndou looks so 1dimensional just done same thing from round 1 to the last.

Good spot skel....we have a preliminary report saying they've both made the weight on boxing scene, however, when I see it on fightnews, I'll believe it!

Two boxing websites have now reported that both fighters made 140, so Ricky was last seen running down the road in Las Vegas headed for the nearest Maccy D's!
