Mayweathers jab and quick footwork would stop Hatton getting into the body and banging away at it. Mayweather would boss the fight and pick up a UD
Ref dives in and stops Rickys bloodfest of a face recieving even more stinging jabs and lead rights mid fight.
Mayweather TKO round 5,6 or 7.
Hatton won't lay a glove on him and Floyd will just toy with him.
nope im sorry cant see mayweather stopping hatton, if any one was to get stopped it would be Mayweather with a body shot.
Id back Mayweather for a UD, but if any one can do it ricky can.
You have to favour Mayweather , but if you want to be the best you got to beat the best so Hatton has nothing to loose and has as good a chance as anyone to pull off the shock
mayweather wins decision
Anyhow Mayweather will have to start fighting in wellington boots , for all the crap he has to walk through that just fell out of his mouth :):):):):):) that may slow him down ;D
Mayweather wants no part of someone that aggressive. He'll be on that bicycle all night long. The fight would resemble something like JLC vs Mayweather I, but Ricky would get the better of it. I'm taking Ricky by a close decision. Maybe even split.
Mayweather UD, but he has to work his nuts off to get it.
I think Hatton will get close to Mayweather people are underrating Hatton he has great handspeed and decent headmovement it all depends on how well Mayweather takes Hattons ripping body shots.
mayweather has to be a favourite. but i think if any one can beat mayweather its hatton. i think people do underate hatton.
I think People underrate Mayweather even more, and especially his power. I can't see Hatton hurting ODLH, but FLoyd did. IN fact I think he is the bigger puncher of the two, and we've seen Hatton is a sitting duck to faster fighters because he has poor defensive skills.
Hatton hits alot harder than Mayweather and Mayweather only shook Oscar for like 1 second Oscar wasn't really hurt at all and if Hatton would hit Oscar clean it would be whole lot different than what Mayweather hit him clean with i will tell you that now most of Hattons punches are power punches and if you look at punchstats in Castillo fight Hatton landed 81 punches 76 of them were power shots Hatton throws punches with mean intentions Mayweather doesn'tQuote:

If he chooses to be as economical as he has been in some of his previous fights then I think that he would win a dec. Having said that, Hatton has proved me wrong (cough-Kostya Tszyu).
Either way I do think that he will have to put in some serious work in this fight.
Hatton comes out pressuring Mayweather and has a little success ala Jesus Chavez did. But that's about it. Mayweather eventually has his way and stops him in 10.
Mayweather throws with intention. He just doesn't throw very many. Mayweather punches sharper than anyone out there, he just isn't as big as some of the guys, but at his natural weight he was a hard hitter. Hatton doesn't hit very hard at all. He couldn't buzz Urango or Collazo. Also there is the fact that Mayweather has a better chin and stamina than Hatton.Quote:

How do you know Hatton will never tire we only saw him fight 4 rounds since his last 2 fights where he tired.Quote:

If you look back over his career, in 12 round fights, I've never seen someone who could keep a pace and stick to it until the final bell, or the stoppage, like Hatton does. His fights against Oliveira, Maussa, Tszyu, Thaxton are just a few examples of a relentless pace being kept up for 3 minutes of every round until the fight was over.Quote:

No way.
Castillo was a long time ago & he still lost...as did Oscar...but Oscar had the success that most do for only a few rounds & Oscar had the size advantage also...which I might add...Floyd negated.
Nothing wrong with being hopeful though. ;D
Floyd sparring 15 rounds with 5 alternating partners?Quote:

But again...Collazo. 147lbs. Floyd's speed & endurance.
Huge factors for Hatton to over come...& I don't think that he can.
That's how I see the fight going, and Floyd too has great endurance, all I pray from now on is that the fight gets made, and there's no controversy at the end, and we see who's the better fighter, I can't say any fairer than that.Quote:

This will resemble the Arturo Gatti slaughter. Everybody was saying the same thing about Gatti's body punching after he stopped Dorin.
Mayweather throws sharp punches but there not as powerful as Hatton's and how can you say Mayweather has better chin who has he been hit off for you to say that ??Quote:

Dont pretend like he's untouchable.

Hopefully PBF will have to fight more aggressively for more of the fight - I think Hatton will bring that out of him. It will be a great fight, and PBF wins UD or late TKO is my expectation.
Wasn't this post about what weight they would fight at rather than who would win? I'll hazard a guess that there might just be at least one other post floating around about who will win the fight.
Regarding the weight issue though the 147 might suit Mayweather as some suggest Hatton slows a bit as he moves up. I know it's not much weight and i'm not sure if he actually does slow but i've heard it said is all. So i'll suggest 147 will be the weight.
I'm not sure who I think will win. At this stage i'd say Floyd, he's just so bloody good. But damn Hatton is tough and fast and could be very dominant.
Mayweather wins in a hell of a tough fight for him, underestimate Hatton at your own peril Floyd!
Thanks for your input guys keep voting ;)
Mayweather said he wants to fight him and I doubt Hatton will back down. I think Hatton is to small at Welterweight but I think he could fair well against Mayweather cause Mayweather does best against guys who give him space. I think PBF would probably win but Hatton is still hungry and I dont know if Floyd still is.
Do you have any idea of what your talking about? Corley stunned him at very most, considering Mayweather came right back and proceeded to kick his ass for the rest of the round. The Judah punch was a counter right hook while Mayweather was comming with a cross to the body, and anyone who boxes would know your extremely vulnerable when you throw a lead cross to the body he,Mayweather, touched his hand to the canvas to regain his balance, but he wasn't hurt. Corrales could barely stand? In the early rounds he seemed to stand fine. Corrales didn't land very much, but he did land a few blows which Mayweather shook off. Phillip N'Dou was another big puncher who couldn't hurt Mayweather.Quote:

Hatton struggled at 147 mayweather beat one of the best at 154
Mayweather easy.
mayweather
i'll think its ok fight but yeah mayweather
Mayweather is up in the voting 33 to 6. Enough said, Hatton could not beat him. Best one could hope for is a semi competitive fight, assuming there is a ref who doesn't tolerate Hattons wrestling.
I think Mayweather would point out in the build upto the fight that Hatton holds alot and i think he wouldnt get away with it this would create distance and Mayweather would take him to school and Mayweather can fight inside and outside anyway.
