It's on boxingtalk. I really don't give a shit about the fight but these two fighting each other means that neither can fight Hatton this fall. Which means a Mayweather megafight can still happen.

This wll be a terrible clas of styles and will be very boring. Could go either way.
I'm looking forward to this. Harris is an explosive and exciting fighter with a suspect chin and conditioning and is always exciting to watch.
Whoever wins this in my opinion is number 1 behind Hatton at 140 lbs and then to be honest we've got Hatton, Malignaggi and either Witter or Harris.
The winner of Witter and Harris can fight Malignaggi whilst Hatton can over after Torres or M'Baye.
Then the two winners can meet in a big unification showdown for all the belts.
Sounds so simple, but alas in boxing this won't happen :-\
good should be a test for Witter, but not if the clown who fought Maussa turns up.
C'mon Harris................
I'd put money on Torres not making it past Holt. Does anyone really care about "unification" at Jr. WW anyway though? Hatton is the clear champ and would have all the belts if he hadn't vacated them. No one ever beat him for a title.Quote:

:coolclick: I agree, I keep forgetting Torres is fighting Holt. Yes that should be a routine handover of the belt in a dire 12 round snoozer :cwm33:Quote:

When Witter wins he'll get what little credability Harris has for pulling through over Lazcano.
Don't see myself praising Witter for beating Harris.
By the way I give Witter more credit for his wins over N'dou and Kotelink then if he beat Harris.
its about time
now i dont really evem care
interesting point. either hatton vs floyd or hatton vs de la hoya would be fine in my bookQuote:

I lean towards Harris. Witter has a habit of just posing for no reason with hands down . too many bad habits will get him trouble vs A level fighter . Vivan has fought the better opposition , has a good size advantage.
Harris knocks Witter out in 8 . ;)
Talk about seeing things different.... :)
Well LG I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens...

Witter is a pretty boring type fighter. waits for things to happen. usually has bad form while he's waiting, hands down and all that. when I close my eyes I see Witter sprawled out on the canvas.
Your crazy! man...Quote:

I see what your saying about Harris. I just don't see it as an off nigh, I saw him loosing steam not only in the Maussa fight but also when he fought Logan.
And I agree on Lazcano he ain't no push over thats for sure, hes tough as nails....
I think Harris overrated ass knocks Witter even more overrated ass out
I sure hope so, the only reason I will watch this is to hopfully see Lord of the dance Witter get knocked the F*** out!!Quote:

And it's only two days away from my birthday, so I'll have something to put me to sleep after all the drinking and shenanigans. ;)Quote:

Witter gets knocked so much, but he went a full 12 with Judah, beat N'dou and destroyed Corley! They aren't great scalps but he's never been knocked out and has never come close!
I'm looking forward to this. It will be a clash of styles, but there is a lot of reputation at stake for both of these fighters.
yea i really cant stand witter but it could be an interesting fight :)
Witter KO 5 is my pick
let's go witter...for i believe you can shock the world or at least the brits when you beat hatton....
Styles make fights... ;)
Lol ::**
Witter doesnt get past harris ;)
Ive been a fan of Witter for years but i have missed some of his fights has he ever been on floor?
I've been calling for this fight for about 3 years, there's not enough room on the planet for both of these nobheads, Harris has a stamina problem and Witter has a courage problem so this fight could be a complete stinker, the only way this fight can offer a degree of excitement is if Witter shows the style he had up until the N'dou fight, he was actually really good to watch then but since then he's been absolutely dreadful to watch.
He nearly lost to Andreas Kotelnik in one of the worst fights I've ever seen, seemed like it was a bit of a robbery to be honest, that decision could have easily gone to Kotelnik. Then he nearly lost to Colin Lynes which somehow was even worse to watch! His fight with Corley again was awful, wasn't a bad performance technically but was very boring, and then he faught Arturo Morua, it took him 6 rounds to even wake up in that fight and realise that Morua was actually scared of him. And people say that Hatton should actually fight Junior Witter? Regardless of what Witter has said to Hatton in the past, just look at his record, and his fights. Since the N'dou fight he's faught nothing but bums and stunk the place out while doing it.
this is the type of fighter that will give witter a chance to look exciting. since the judah loss all of the fighters that came to fight got ko'd or badly hurt. harris will always fight even if he gets cought, unlike corley. when corley felt witters power he was very cautious coming in and was confused in doing anything, as was witters last opponent.
harris will keep coming but in the end it will probably get him knocked out with a witter counter.
i expect this to be a very exciting fight. i would still wish witter to face hatton instead as i think hattons style is so perfect for him. but still looking forward to this one.
