Hatton Mayweather & Calzaghe Kessler on the same pay per view card

One fight in Europe one fight in America. This would be the pay per view event of the year and as Calzaghe Kessler wont be happening till November, Mayweather will have enough time to get ready for his 12 round beating by THE HITMAN.

Warren would never allow this to happen.

But it would be HBO event how could he stop it as he wants HBO interest in Calzaghe

In most cases, I totally agree with you. I just don't know if he'd be humble enough to admit that Ricky Hatton is the best way of making the most money.

I'd say this has about the same chance of happening as Hatton moving up in weight to fight Wladimir Klitschko.

If that was the card they ppv price would be $100. minimum

The powers that be have a better chance of having people pay for 2 PPV events at $60 a piece, than
one at whatever ridiculous amount they would charge for that.

I would pay for Calzaghe vs. Kessler (would like to see Mundine vs. Lacy on the undercard)

I would pay for Hatton vs. Mayweather (would like to see Malignaggi vs. Witter on the undercard)

Why would they bundle two of the biggest PPV fights together when they could make double the money selling them seperately.

That's like saying Microsoft would make a fortune if they sold Halo 3 and Crysis bundled together this christmas for the price of one game. Just insanity.

Microsoft is shite LINUX is the best internet provider. Microsoft is the biggest pile of shite ive ever encountered. simple fact if fans can get two big fights for a bargain fee the fight will sell better.

But the accounting doesn't add up. First of all I don't know about the world outside of the US, but I seriously doubt that any PPV would be less than $55 and thats for one big fight, with one or two up and comers on the undercard.
To have two big fights and let's be honest most of the people that will pay to see Hatton will pay to see Calzaghe is as well. no way that it would sell for $40 a ppv.......consider what the purse will be for Hatton vs. Mayweather I'm guessing at least 25 mil total, then add Calzaghe vs. Kessler at least 10 mil total. So that would be 35 million dollars the you have to cover right off the top, then include the undercards purses. Then a portion of the PPV would go to Sky or Setenta and HBO.

Well a bill like this wouldn't sell for less than $54 but regardless even if these were on the same bill they would still not get anywhere near the 2 million buys mark.

The vast percentage of PPV sales come from America and most of them could care less about Calzaghe Kessler. As for Hatton Mayweather, it's no bigger stateside than Mayweather Judah or Mayweather Gatti and way way short of Mayweather De La Hoya.

This bill wouldn't even top 1 million buys at $40 and to do that would make just no commercial sense whatsoever.

All that on one PPV...a boxing orgasm!!!

I think it's going to be hard enough to get these done let alone on the same card. Plus it makes much more sense for the promoters to have this on seperate cards for seperate buys. Let's face it, we'll all pay $50 for each of these fights.

Definitely won't be PPV. It would be a regular HBO fight.

The last three or four Calzaghe fights have been on terrestrial TV (ITV) for free in the UK! So unless Warren is getting back with Sky or with Setanta the Calzaghe will be Free to Air anyway. I haven't heard anything suggesting he will ditch ITV.

Even so i can't see both fights being on the same night, although it would be awesome!!
