Good thread. I think Cotto would be the most difficult tbh.
I went for Oscar. It's the fight I want him to take next.
Tony
Dont you want him to fight Mayweather then ?Quote:

I think he'd beat Margo too. But I don't rate Tony that highly. Once he does something of worth, I'll review my judgement on him.Quote:

I voted for Margarito.
He is slow and Hatton might be able to duck under the reach and get inside.
De La Hoya flattens him
Cotto beats him to ribbons
Mayweather jabs him in the mouth three or four times a second and moonwalks his way to victory.
Cotto is good but i aint seen nothing that would make me think he could easily beat hatton if at all but as for the resy i give him a chance against every1 other than odh.Quote:

1. De La Hoya, if he didn't knock him out inside 4 rounds he'd tire and get UD'd or even stopped, the fight would have to be at a catchweight though.
2. Mayweather, styles make fights in this one, Hatton would out work, out muscle and out land over 12 rounds.
3. Cotto. Very strong and could stand and trade with Hatton for 12, accurate puncher, good body puncher and decent defence, but possibly has a suspect chin which would help Hatton, he knows how to pounce when he hurts a guy.
4. Margarito. Punches just bounce off of him, throws whirling shots from all angles, could land a big shot at any time, but could turn out to be the easiest to fight, if he could box him like he did Ben Tackie.
de la hoya easily this guys will be opening a bank next
de la hoya
I voted Mayweather.....it's the one big fight he's wanted all his career and its the only fight strenght won't come into play.......the other 3 are probably too big for him.
Some people say that Hatton could beat Oscar very easy bit I question that. I somehow think that brawlers is the style that Oscar has beaten before with ease such as Mayorga and Vargas.
Margarito is the worst fighter up there, so I voted for him. He'd still beat Hatton though. Cotto is pretty slow, but given that Hatton fights inside, it wouldn't matter.
I can't believe anyone thinks Hatton would stand a chance against ODH. ODH is WAY bigger and stronger than Hatton, so Hatton's one way of winning (bullying people on the inside) would be totally neutered. Throw ODH's far superior boxing skills on top of that--along with Hatton's mediocre defense--and it's a recipe for Hatton getting KO'd for sure.
Floyd, despite being the closest in size to Hatton, is the toughest one out there. Hatton would win two rounds max in that fight.
I voted Cotto
The ODH fight IMO hasn't got a chance in hell of happening
I'm assuming these fights would be at 147. That being the case, I don't think Hatton would beat any of them, but I voted DLH. Cotto is in his weight and is too strong for Hatton. Mayweather at 147 would outbox Hatton's ears off. Margarito is too big and strong as well. Oscar? He'd hard pressed to go down to 147 and may be weakened (plus he's on the downhill side of the mountain), but I think he'd still beat a Hatton, whose best weight is clearly 140.
You Forgot "NONE" witch is my vote he just have to prove me wrong.
I vote for Malignaggi. He can beat him worst than Cotto did because of his Punch Hug Style.
Oops watch for Sad Clicks :tom: :duck:
The results would all be the same. Hatton losing badly. Brutal stoppages to De La Hoya, Cotto and Margarito. And a lopsided, shut out loss to Mayweather.
He might be able to outbox Cotto or Margarito, but I don't see him as favourite in any of the fights. Margarito and De la Hoya will look massive standing next to him, and Hatton was unable to hurt Collazo. He's just too small IMO and Mayweather will be able to outbox him.

I'm sorry, I've been looking at this topic since yesterday and I can't make up my mind. Is ther a "None of the above" option available?
No as these are the top 4 he should be fighting next
