Tarver vs Jones 3 Is So Frustrating To Watch
I watched this the other day and it was frustrating to watch Jones won the 4th and 5th easy as pie and he could of took Tarver because his speed and ect was still there yet all he done was stick his tongue out and showboat and basically do nothing i never been so frustrated watching a fight before Jones is one of my favorite fighters and would beat any at Supermiddleweight Lightheavyweight imo in his prime it was so sad for him to lose that 3rd fight when he could of took Tarver at anytime did anyone else feel this way ??

Such an awsome fighter... It was like he just showed up.... I still don't get it cuz I know he can take Tarver apart to this day...

I think in 3rd fight he wasn't shot and he looked sharp its just he threw it away because he was scared of getting koed but he could of took Tarver in that 3rd fight.

Its on youtube but i won't recommend watching it so frustrating to see that Jones could of took him but decided to be flash than actually fight.

I think this is so true but, look... Who wasn't scared after they've been hurt? You're fearless when you're young and you learn through experience and gain more and more fear with age...
I don't blame him but hope he vanquishes his demons... cuz theres still alot left in that tank...

He got koed twice in a row i think he just wanted to survive because he didn't wana get koed but damn i bet he wish he could turn the clock back now.

jones was scared. his reflexes and every thing else were still good IMO. he just fought like a guy who was scared of being KOed.

The thing that amzed me is that Roy stopped throwing punches while visibly not tired... That goes back to when ICE and I were talking about him being afraid of being knocked out...

All three fights were boring.
If I was in Shaun of the dead, I would pick those 3 discs from my boxing collection to throw first at the zombies.

I can honestly and regretedly say it is one of the most boring fights i have ever seen..
It was painful to watch roy - glen johnson..
But tarver jones took the biscuit.. Especially It bieng roy

The funny thing about that fight was roy was just trying to survive..and with licking his tounge out and all that shit..he still almost got kayoed in the 11th...he was in tremedous shape for the fight too, because any other night that hook might have dropped him....come to think of it he was in better shape for the third fight with tarver than i can remeber at LHW..probably since the reggie johnson fight...he looked great but..man got me started again..i promise i wasn't going to do this next time roy and tarver came up ..wait wait gimme a second :bawling:
okay i'm better now....I wish he'd looked at the second fight and realize or remember that he got up on nine..and that the punch was lucky..
and that he lost about 100 of his gamecocks during the hurricaine and drove the 11 hours to memphis to fight glen johnson all the factors that were apparent when he fought johnson...
man...I hope fucking destroys Hanshaw..I talking about the way did Pazienza....

Jones did better against Tarver the 1st time than he did the 3rd time.
In teh first fight he fought poorly . In the 3rd he was fighting scared . The only time he took a chance was in the 11th and he got tagged by a right hook lead that had him blinking but fighting back in a bizzarre incident .
He is guna take afew more hooks when he fights Tito so I think we are guna see Roy fighting scared in that one too but what I will say in his defence is prime for prime , nobody could touch him possibly the best ever ! He was that great !
