Why do you all hate vic, you dont even know him!

Ive talked to vic on forum chats at kostya tszyus website and hes such a nice guy. He never shys away from meeting his fans and doesnt refuse a photograph with anyone who is willing. You all hate on him coz hes confident, is that a fuckin crime? He lost, big deal it happens, nonito fought well and hit a great shot. But you guys are all complaining about how he demanded a rematch, well that is his passion. He just lost his titles, how would you be after that. Vic gave nonito a shot so if he really does respect vic then he should give him a title shot. Stop kicking a man when hes down.

The man has no class at all and doesn't know the meaning of "good sportsmanship" after his convincing defeat.

Humble Nonito was admiring him, giving him the props and all but he still cocky and arrogant.

We know him only by the way he chooses to present himself when the spotlight is on him... And that is like a stuck up asshole. It's not difficult to show a bit of class and come across as a nice guy, he either chooses to act like an ass, or he is one. Either way, I dislike him for that, and I dislike the way he fights, and Im glad he got his ass knocked out.

I understand where you are coming from, Snakey. We all have guys we stick up for during these times because we have "insight." Still, for every person we stick up for there are three or four we dog out.

I don't hate him personally, he uses the trash talk to intimidate his opponent, i just dislike the way he fights! He is a flawed fighter who isn't as good as he thinks he is and he got floored by Donaire who exposed his week defense.

CC.Totally agree,well said.I'd like to add,his incessant bad mouthing of other fighters like Arce ESPECIALLY after the Mijares fight and his calling out of guys 2 or 3 weight classes above him like Rafa Marquez are also contributing factors to my dislike. Arce had a mouth too and he could back it up besides those fights he lost and he came back to prove he was still good. I like fighters that talk as long as they can back it up, or at ;east attempt to. If they talk about being a tough guy I can respect them as long as they try their hardest to win or lose. But if someone says they are a tough guy and then fold mentally or whatever when it isn't going their way then I don't have respect for them.

Thats why I respect fighters like Arce and Darchiniyan and Malignaggi because even though they lost they never stopped trying.

I can't stand watching him fight, so sloppy. That's the main thing with me, he should be barred from boxing for being so crappy to watch.

That and he's annoying. I don't care if he's a nice guy, its like with Teddy Atlas, he annoys me so much that I turn the channel whenever they start talking about his charity work cause I don't want to dwell on the positive.

In all seriousness, Snakey I'm sure you have some fighters you don't like, right. And I'm sure you probably don't know them, we all dislike fighters we don't know. Its not like we want horrible things to happen to them. Except maybe getting gloriously KTFO every once in a while. :)

Crappy kept him Champion almost 3 years :P

That was my first live fight seeing Vic, I was shocked by his style. It is so deliberate, seriously you have about 2 seconds to prepare for the left. Otherwise he came off as a bad loser. I know you are disoriented after being k.o.'d but saying he wasnt hurt...either he doesnt speak proper english to know what he was saying or he's a douchebag. He also did not give Nonito any credit. I liked how Glen was freaking out after the k.o., that was funny.

Well I for one don't hate him. I just can't stand a ONE-demensional fighter being presented as some unbelievable talent. VIC has absolutly no skills, only power. And he got exposed as all true boxing fans knew he would.

I've enjoyed watching his last few fights. I've never really heard him being interviewed until this weekend so didn't know he was supposed to be arrogant.

He seems ok to me to be honest. The commentators were saying beforehand that he's rung the hospital every single day to check on the health of his last opponent who lapsed into a coma so it seems his heart is in the right place even if he's mouthy at times.

I don't mind him to be honest.

nor do i. I actually kinda like him his defensless style makes his fights kind of exciting, i'm just surprised at how careless he's fought lately, like he could punch through anybody and anyone, bet that shit stops quick !!

A lot of fighters are one dimensional, there are one dimensional boxers and one dimensional sluggers and one dimensional counter punchers and etc, being one dimensional isnt a bad thing if you're so good at it that you can overcome your faults to take advantages away from someone else, look at someone like Miguel Cotto even.

And Darchiniyan had 7 title defenses that has to get him somewhere. He was and is a huge talent, it got him this far didn't it? And one loss isn;t going to change that, it depends how he comes back too. But he was still a major talent in that weight division and as much as people hate him it's true. At least in my opinion it is. Which is why Donaire deserves even more credit.

The guy knew how to rush in on an opponent and free swing. Thats it. Or at least that's all he showed. He was basically the product of a shallow division.
