Was it me or was Tyson tore up last night??/
I can't be certain but Mike looked Drunk as all hell last night...
He was talking very slow and low toned like he was trying to compose himself...To his credit he was a perfect gentleman...He also looked like S***
He looked wore out old and extremly out of shape....
Anyone else think the same?

They have to juggle alot of psyche drugs with him,sometimes folks react like that
Not saying he wasnt,but an alternative explanation

To his credit he did correct himself towards the end...
Truth is I actually felt bad for him... I was watching his greatest hits DVD earlier in the evening and thinking about how great he was and what a fine tuned fighting machine he was in the ring untill he left Roney and the Catskill crew....
It is almost painful to watch someone you once admired in such a state and truth is though he did this to himself mostly

He seemed a little awkward but to be honest Mike nearly always is awkward when he's not grabbing his testicles and promising to face rape somebody.
I liked the way he called K9 'Mr Bundrage' and went out of his way to be as polite as possible, with his 'The pleasure's all mine Lisa thankyou' bit at the end.
I guess he's probably permantly on medication now, something like elaphant tranqualisers to keep him docile and harmless.

He sounded fine to me......I was pretty drunk. To be honest he just sounded like every heavyweight thats been through 50 some fights.

He made ESPN look like ass holes who said he was some sort of uncontainable monster bully no good without manners ass hole.
But last night he was the exact opposite :)
And to be honest, Tyson usually is in interviews when he doesn't have a fight coming up. If its anything Tyson knows its what the public wants and how to sell a fight. And before his "change" he would sell fights by acting crazy and out of control and then ask his managers "Thats gonna make the fight bigger isn't it?" Because at that point he was fighting for money.
Well now he isn't fighting anymore so it's good to see him in polite fashion.
And considering the event I wouldn't be shocked if 95 percent of the people there wouldn't be driving home that evening :)

If Mike is participating in rehab after his drug arrests, then I have no doubt that he's been prescribed anti-depressants to help him with his addiction but also with the overall depression that led him to abuse drugs in the first place.
If he sounds lethargic, it was probably due to medication.

This much is true....I can name about a dozen guys over the years ( Mostly as a kid and teenager ) that I looked up to and really thought so much of then ended dis-appointed....
Almost like finding out Superman is not a real guy or Santa was made up....

I'm surprised no one is saying those deathly words ...... "punch drunk" ? (He just can't be, I know, he has always spoke well)
I think he was drunk too, maybe high too.. but it's pretty scary hearing always excited Mike talk slowly.

I'm pretty sure he was drunk. With all the free drinks he gets and all the drinks people buy for him, it's pretty easy to get drunk. I doubt Mike's ever bought a drink in his life.

he had the world at his feet more money than the normal man can even imagine.
now hes a nobody , i dont think is sad at all he made his bed now he has to lay in it.
i always predicted he would end up like Liston , alone and dead in hotel room watch this space

He may have had a lil something goin onbut he's a grown man. What the hell, he was at the espy's & then the fights enjoying himself. I woulda had a few myself. Good for Mike if that was the case.

yeah definately , Id love to have him as an announcer, , he always gives a good analysis of other peoples and his own fights, and is obviously very charismatic too (in a weird way). He is the most captivating magnetic speaker in boxing since Ali.

Truth id the Danny Williams loss was a bigger shock to me then the Douglas loss.....The McBride loss was just very sad....As Mike said to himself to lose to a fighter of this caliber......Kevin McBride would not have lasted the 90 seconds Spinks did in Tysons hey day........
