They seriously need to stop all them boring old fat fuckers (Danny,Sprott,Audley,Skelton) ever getting on the box again.
Unless they're put in with Haye to get seriously caned.
They all suck imo Harrison is chinny as hell and when he gets hit looks like he has just shit himself
Danny Williams is an ok fighter but gets too out of shape and ends up like Butterbean
Michael Sprott goes hot and cold in every fight a good journeyman but he has had so many chances he should just retire
Matt Skelton fights like a bear just mauls has no real boxing skill he does okish when he fights on outside but overall untidy fighter who is boring to watch can you imagine the 2 huggers fighting Skelton and Ruiz ?? that would be my worse nightmare.
Skelton is horrible... HORRIBLE! :P He's also extremely lucky that referees let him get away with severely taking the piss every time he fights.
Mickey Vann didn't do a thing except give each fighter (when it was mostly Skelton) a little talking to at the start of the 12th round hug fest...
As if telling them to get their act together in the 12th is gonna have an effect. He shouldn't have been paid for reffing that fight, because he did NOTHING... he couldn't complain though... I'm sure his 'friend' Mr. Warren would see him alright.
Out of all the fighters you've mentioned, i would say Skelton would have the best chance against the Russians, they would hate to fight someone as dirty as himQuote:

Forget all that world title shot bollocks.
Skelton hasn't got a hope in hells chance of beating any world class heavy.
If he gets a chance I hope its against a Euro based Champ. I'd hate for him to be sent over to the States and bring shame on us ;D
He don't need to come to the US to bring shame to you guys.Quote:

It was a very shitty fight. It is bad for british boxing and It was embarrasing to watch.
We had a American version of that I think it was Taylor - Spinks.Quote:

Mat Skelton is probably the worst technical fighter i have ever seen ,
he smothers his own work , by move to close before he punches , hes dirty , he has no defence ,
he is at least 3.5 stone over weight. All in all i hope Wlad gets him in the ring then that will be the last we will hear of him :)
So it diont get any better I turned it off after the 4th
I sat through it scrappy, really wish I hadn't... I knew the card would be horrible... my brother didn't seem to understand why I wasn't really fussed about watching it.
I enjoyed the small fight, thought he was stopped slightly too early but he was in danger.
Am I the only boxer here who was watching Skelton and really fancied getting in the ring with them?... :P
It was bad, but I hated watching Taylor-Spinks more. But maybe that stuck in my mind more because it followed the awesome Pavlik-Miranda fight.Quote:

By the way, why did people thing the draw was questionable. Skelton did about as much as Sprott to win that fight.
This was possibly the worst fight I have seen. The worst exponents of the noble art there have ever been. They made Butterbean look like Sugar Ray Robinson. I truly, truly think that if Frank Bruno at the age he is now, and the fact that he has been out of the ring for 11 years. I would still say a Bruno-Skelton fight would only be 55-45 in Skeltons favour.
A peak Frank Bruno ? He would beat both of these BUMS on there same night. It's funny, the stick Bruno used to get as a fighter, yet these two chumps makes you realise that Bruno was not that bad after all. Look at the fighters who beat him (A peak Tyson, peak Lewis, peak Witherspoon, peak Bonecrusher Smith) Why does T.V still persist in showing these heavyweights when there were great fights on the under card ?
