Williams - Cintron Williams UD (Replay of the Margarito fight IMO)
Williams - Cotto Cotto TKO (Hard one to predict but Margarito did hurt Williams to the body)
Williams - Mosley Mosley UD (Mosley's speed and excellent offence should lower that amazing punch output)
PBF - Cotto PBF UD (Much more competitive than the Baldomire fight but still, Floyd should win)
PBF - Cintron PBF UD (Floyd will take him to school)
PBF -Mosley PBF SD (Great fight. Floyd's superior defense should give him the slight edge)
Cotto - Mosley Cotto UD (Another hard one to predict, but I think Cotto outworks him and punishes him)

Williams - PBF PBF UD (Williams misses all night and gets countered enough to slow his work rate. PBF opens up more this fight.)
Williams - Cintron Williams KO (Cintron folds under the pressure put on by Williams.)
Williams - Cotto Cotto KO ( Cotto destroys that brittle frame and punishes the punisher.)
Williams - Mosley Williams UD ( Mosley can't deal with a tall fighter, and Williams takes this one.)
PBF - Cotto PBF SD ( Cotto can't land as much as he thought, and eats counters. He gives Floyd the toughest fight of his career, but falls a little short)
PBF - Cintron PBF UD ( Complete schooling Cintron doesn't land that big right hand clean once.)
PBF -Mosley Mosley UD ( Mosley's speed and power back Floyd up to the ropes and this time Floyd pays for it.)

CC and congratz on having the b@lls to give PBF a loss. Some people here think that he is the second coming. The WW div is so hot right now I don't think even the great Floyd Maywether gets by unscaithed.

I simply know Shane will be the last man standing - Williams would give him a lot of problems but that's not gonna happen cause Tony will probably reverse the decision or Paul will get badly hurt tryin to impress against a nobody out there.

Thanks for the CC. Nice topic I'm surprised there hasn't been more replies. What about a second tier RR (note:second tier is not necessarily based on talent, rather what have you done for me lately) :). Winner gets back in the big fight discussions.

can I just alert the forum to the dangers of overhyping a fighter who beat an overhyped fighter.
Anybody that believes williams can challenge mayweather is clutching at straws a little.

Styles make fights my friend. Williams skill wise is not in Maywether's level. But if you actually put these two guys in the ring there are a number of problems I see for Floyd.
1. Williams is 1/2 ft taller. Not a big deal here cuz Williams don't use his hight that well but it does add that much more to Williams reach advantage. It also means that PBF will be pounching up all night which makes him tire a bit more.
2. Williams has close to a ft of reach advantage. This is a huge cussion. It means that Williams will be able to start shooting those jabs before PBF can even start thinking of throwing that lead right.
3. Williams averages close to 100 pounches per round. This to me is Floyd's biggest hurtle. Most would agree that the man to beat Floyd is one that out works him and keeps him in the defensive.

This one is a bit tougher. I have not seen enough fights from Quintana but I don't think he makes this round. He needs to mount somekind of comeback with a name fighter.
I think Clottey beats everybody. That includes Margarito. Injury free I say Clottey takes this one. Margarito beats the rest and Collazo and Judah come up 3 and 4 respectively. I really don't think Judah has any more big wins left in him. Collazo on the other hand is still young and has good skills and solid chin and time to improve and maybe get a second shot at a title some day.

Floyd would not even know how to go about this fight. Williams would make Floyd look just like what he is, a boy. This would be an easy win for Williams.

I put my picks down on another thread, but you know.... the WW division is so competitive and HOT right now, I'd probably contradict some of my earlier picks if I were to make them again. (LOL)

I think Cotto & Mosley would defeat Williams.
I also think they are Floyd's biggest competition @ WW.
They are both fights I pick Floyd to win though!!!
There are so many great potential match-ups @ WW I only hope that they start getting made!

They are good points indeed, but they do not change the facts. So many people on this forum seem to jump from bandwagon to bandwagon that you'd think they'd have learned something by now.
Cotto is about the only one who has looked like he has the game to take out Mayweather ;D.
Williams throws alot of punches, but his effectiveness is appauling. I can see why Margarito was confused by the result. He blocked such a high volume of punches that he must have believed he was defensively outmanouvering his opponent. However, margarito was so slow to the punch all night that williams could do nothing but look good.
The cold hard facts remain. Williams would maintain a high volume of punches all night. Mayweather would sit back and dodge at least half of them, blocking most of the rest. I'd expect Williams to only land about 15 per round against Mayweather at very best. The first 6 rounds would be split with Mayweather's better accuracy . By the later rounds Mayweather would stroll away with the fight.
I do not believe that Williams is a bad fighter, he is much better than Margarito, but I never gave Margarito a half a chance against Mayweather so I can't give Williams much of a shot either and that is considering his package as a fighter, with the awkwardness he brings and the volume of work.

I like Floyd in all these matchups. Although the one fight I think he could lose is the one you guys think he would win. Or most of you. I think Cintron is the guy who could give him more trouble. Cintron looks quick and with the experience of Emanual who knows boxing, the blueprint to beat Floyd might be in Cintron's hands. I was impressed with Williams in someways. He controlled the action and was relaxed and didn't fold. Although if he fights someone else that could all change. Margarito's style looks made for Williams. Williams/Mayweather is a big size difference.

You got some good points and you may be right. I never meant that Williams is sure to beat Floyd, I just thionk he has a better chance than most and I would most likely pick him to win.
I didn't really want this to become a "who can beat Floyd" thread. I'm more interested in the whole picture. Where do each of these champions stand in your eyes.
LB, I agree that Cintron could put anybody on his back with that pounch of his and I am looking forward to see how this kid developes under ES. But IMO he has yet to graduate into the big leagues. He needs to avenge his loss or get a win over a big name opponent for me to give him a shot against any of the elite. I did pick him over Cotto cuz he is the most susseptible to pounches of all five mentioned and I am still not convinced on how he would do against a solid pouncher/finisher like Cintron. But even that is a long shot to me at this time.
