Pryor-Leonard is my #1. Actually, Pryor vs. any of the eras top welterweights would stick out in my mind. I think Pryor has been slighted by history because the top guys from era shamefully ducked him. He mauled Hearns brutally in the '76 Golden Gloves Championship and Hearns wanted no part of him as a pro. There was talk after the second Arguello fight of a 'Boom Boom' Mancini-Pryor bout. That would have been a wild brawl not lasting more than 5 rounds.

I never heard of any of the elite ducking Pryor except Leonard Hearns was natural Welterweight Pryor was natural Lightwelterweight and Pryor only ever fought above this weight in his comeback i believe if Pryor would of moved up im sure he would of got a piece of the big boys and Mancini vs Pryor fight didn't happen because Mancini got upset by Livingstone Bramble.Quote:
