Fights that were good that seemingly most people on here forgot were good........
Mayweather vs De La Hoya
Khan vs Lamond
Wright vs Taylor
Lewis/McCall II, lmao. Just kidding. Micky Ward/Emanuel Augustus one of my favorites. Damn, good question, there are alot that I forgot how good. Mayweather/Corrales.
Mayweather-Corrales is a great one.
Taylor-Wright was a bit boring in the latter rounds.
Yeah,Id more or less forgotten I had the B/L fight on tape, but I was having my HW watch Hilton/Ouilette for the conflicting styles last night, and it was the next fight on the tape, found myself getting really in to itQuote:

Skelton V Williams
Bowe vs Golota I
I saw this again a couple of weeks ago. Man I had not see heavys fight like that in a long time.
i wasn't expecting wright taylor to be as good a fight as it was.
Though I got to say, neither one of the punches that knocked Brewster for a loop were legal, both of them were behind the head
Barrera v JMM
....yeah it was AWESOME to watch those two guys just mail it in :beat:Quote:

This is something like underrated fights right?
Fights that most people overlook....
Uuummm!! let me see.... How about
Arguello vs. Olivares - A true classic, this was the passing of the baton from a great champ to the new champ.
Barrios vs. Freitas - I think a lot of people overlook that fight or just forget how good it was. Gatti-Ward II was FOTY.
MAB vs. McKinney - What a superb fight from begining to end, back and forth action and both fighters giving it their all.
Boza-Edwards vs. Navarrete - In true Philipino fashion Navarrete comes in a does what Philipinos do best, that's go against all odds.
Cooper vs. Moorer - These 2 exchange knockdowns and both on the verge of wining the fight, short but explosive.
Liles vs. Littles - Another short and sweet fight with a huge KO in the end. Very entertaining
Campas vs. Duddy - Back and forth action, the momentum switches from fighter to fighter about 25 times as the rounds go on.
Gomez vs. Nelson - Whoa! Speechless really 2 of the greats in their battleing it out.
Norris vs. Waters - On the verge of upsetting Norris, Waters trys to with all hes got to land the one punch that would put Norris away.
JCC vs. Martinez - What a fight this was and more important it showed that JCC was one tough SOB and those who have seen it will agree.
I guess that my list would qualifiy more as a fight that many people don't talk about.
A few that I like.......
Simon Brown vs Tyrone Trice.
Tyrone Trice vs Kevin Pompey.
Aaron Davis vs Mark Breland.
Azumah Nelson vs Gabe Ruelas
Azumah Nelson vs Jeff Fenech
Emanuel Augustus vs Micky Ward
Golota vs Bowe 1, Morrison vs Ruddock, Mercer vs LewisQuote:

PAc vs Marquez I can still see the fireworks ;D
CC#40 on me THIRD MAN and I agree with your pick of 'Mauler' vs. 'The Mouse' what a battle.Quote:

Trice - Brown & Davis - Breland are 2 great fights that you'll hardly ever hear anything about. Two of my all time favs!Quote:

Fights that I forgot were good. Hmmm.... I don't know, I must have forgot. ;D
Young Mutley v Kevin Anderson
Just thought of the Gatti-Robinson fights. Those were amazing!
Here's a recent fight that I had forgotten was good.... Taylor-Wright.
I just watched it tonight, and that fight was back and forth toe-to-toe action for 12 rounds. I knew it was a good fight, but I didn't remember it being that good.
Taylor fought very hard in that fight and hit Wright with a lot of shots. He shouldn't get criticized for how he fought that night.
These are some British fighters that spring to mind.
Lewis vs Briggs - Two big guys throwing big punches until the end .
Thompson vs Sellers - Small hall show went under the radar but both guys kept coming back from the brink of defeat. Possible K.O of the year too to finish it .
Reid vs Calzaghe - These guys arent known for being in exciting fights but when they met each other it was really entertaining , and the hatred between them added to the tension in the ring .
Nas vs Sanchez - This was Nas' last big win but he was on teh deck in a 4 round shot out in a great little fight
Williams - Potter Before the injury this was a great battle . Danny was floored in the opening seconds of the fight . Came back to florr Potter in th eopening seconds of the 2nd round . Then his shoulder came out the socket and when it looked like he was about to be stopped he knocked Potter out with the left hand
Lueshing vs Saunders - Great cuz neither guy could take the other guys punch and every few seconds there would be a knockdown . Strangely enough the fight was stopped with Sanders on his feet . ;D
I like Larios/ Vasquez 2. That was a hard out battle. Don't hear to much about it these days
& Letterlough/ Gonzalez. What a brawl!
I just finished watching a fight that I forgot was good.
Rafael Ruelas vs. Freddie Pendleton - What a battle, Freddi drops Ruelas twice in the 1st round. Ruelas weathers the storm and comes back and was very close to stopping Freddie.
Barrera-Juarez I
Morales-In Jin Chi
Morales-Pac I
Now you mention In Jin Chi, his fight with Michael Brodie was brilliant. Ricky Hatton v John Thaxton is another great fight, to this day I've never seen 12 rounds of work at such an incredible pace by a fighter of his age than I saw in that fight. I don't even know if this one was televised or not, but as a young lad my dad took me to see his mate Jimmy 'Shea' Neary fight Andy Holligan and it was 6 rounds of sheer carnage, very Hagler v Hearns, as the story goes Andy Holligan faught with a broken rib caused by an 18 year old Ricky Hatton in sparring.
Sea Neary v Micky Ward - Neary was undefeated and Ward was wobbling in the second round but finished Neary with a beautiful left hook to the body and uppercut to the chin which lifted Neary off his feet.
Also Shea Neary v Andy Holligan local match which was toe to toe war for local bragging rights with Neary winning.
McClellan-Benn is (understandably) most remembered for the resulting permanent injuries suffered by McClennan, but if not for that it would have been remembered as one of the top fights of the 90s. Absolute mayhem from opening bell, with the brave McClellan sending Benn through the ropes in the first, then Benn gamely recovers and eventually earns the win.
I'm pretty sure that ur referring to Benn vs McClellan.Quote:
