Donaire wants Naito next...
Now that Thailand’s Pongsaklek Wonjongkam has lost his WBC flyweight title to Japan’s Daisuke Naito by a twelve round unanimous decision last July 18, the manager of IBF champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire says a unification title fight against Naito is his first choice.
boxing scene.com are reporting it. You can't post the link on here because they were a bit arsey about us doing so.

this has been GREAT first that annoying lolipop sucking cowboy gets his ass handed to him(arce) by mijares then that prick vic gets ktfo by nonito and Pongsaklek Wonjongkam also known as the paper chump gets beaten. haha this has been a great age for this division.
Now we can get nonito vs naito for a unification, hopefuly mijares gets a chance in on the action too. ;D

It's not that good because they have all been replaced by more little 8 stone men.
Personally I wish they would allow women boxers and schoolboys to fight in the flyweight division just to show how pathetic the idea of a professional 8 stone fighting man really is.

COME ON BILBO, you gotta appreciate the smaller guys. they are tough s.o.b and are fun to watch. they have pride too, it would be an insult for a women to be put in the ring with them and schoolboys. it wouldn't be competitive believe me if you put women and schoolboys against them, thats actually brutal and cruel to watch them beat on women and schoolboys. I watch the fights, they can be entertaining, in the same way that watching two clowns throw pies at each other at the circus can be entertaining.

he doesn't have the reach advantage this time.
Donaire has the style and reach to pick Nonito apart.
I still think this will be a very entertaining fight though.
Probably the best flyweight fight in recent memory.

Possibly but I expect Mijares will do well with HBO considering his Hollywood background. At one time I thought he was just trying to pursue acting what with his appearance in the sci fi blockbuster The Core but he seems to have cut down on his movie work now. The last thing I can remember seeing him in was an episode of My Name Is Earl where he played the husband of a woman wrestler.
Hopefully he's focusing 100% on boxing right now.

I seen more of Naito. I also think he's come a long way and learned from his 2 losses. Donaire is a good fighter. And he looked outstanding knocking out Vic. Which I'm glad he did. But Vic was just a come forward fighter who looks for the knock out. Vic obviously never heard of having a plan B just in case plan A ain't working. Naito while definitely no defense master himself, is a better all around fighter than Vic. And i think he can pull a win against Donaire. Keep in mind I just lean towards Naito. I would not be surprised at a Donaire victory. I did pick him to beat Vic. So I do rate him pretty high.

Good points,I think the main reason I find it difficult to favour Naito is because I've only seen this one fight,no others. I'd like to see the winner fight Mijares.
