OK guys a brief RBR from the Cardiff card.
First up Alex Arthur V Koba Gogoladze
RD 1
Gogoladze the much busier with a handfull of decent right hand counters, easily spinning away from Arturs attacks
RD 2
Gogoladze still in charge with superior movement and counter right hands and occasional left hooks downstairs. Gogoladze lands three straight right hands on the bounce and Arthur responds with a bigger right hand of his own at the bell. Not enough to take the round though
20-18 Gogoladze
Arthur getting closer in this round but for me Gogoladze just nicking it with some cleaner work at the death. The right hand from Arthur looks to have caused a little damage above Gogoladze's left eye.
30-27 Gogoladze
RD3
Arthur puts his first round in the bank for me. Still plenty of movement from Gogoladze but Arthur is landing more and blocking a lot of Gogoladze's work. Clash of heads opens a cut under Arthurs right eyee at the death
39-37 Gogoladze
RD 5
Gogoladze started the round the brighter and finished it wel too. arthur trying to take it into the trenches and bundles Gogoladze to the ground.
49-46 Gogoladze
He best pull this one out of the hat or i will not be happy at all!
RD 6
10-8 round to the Scot. Not the most conclusive of knockdowns but its in the book. Arthur well on his way to winning the round anyway, the extra point a bonus.
57-56 Gogoladze
RD 7
Quieter round that one. Arthur taking it with half a dozen decent body shots. Gogoladze is slowing down a bit and Arthur is having his way to some extent up close
66-66
Another 10-8 round for Arthur. About as conclusive as the first to be honest as Arthur steamed into Gogoladze and he buckled with out a clear cut punch landed. Arthur landed his best right hand of the night early in the round but Gogoladze took it well
76-74 Arthur
WTF = VIER?
RD 9
Gogoladze has been careless with his head and it cost him here in what would have been an even round. Not a lot happening, Gogoladze with a decent straight left hand but not a lot else.
86-83 Arthur
that was easily a KD
I knew I should have gone with my instincts and picked Gogo. :(
The kid can move well and in the ring and I figuered he'd move around and steal rounds that way.
Sounds like a good fight Memphis....
RD 10
Gogoladze down again as Arthur lands a cluster of hooks to the head, Gogoladze doesnt fancy the job any more and is stumbling away from Arthur. Arthur harries him into a corner and unloads once more and the referee steps in with Gogoladze still on his feet but gratefull its all over.
Arthur TKO 10
Another British champ ;D im buzzin.
Decent work from Arthur, it was sprappy but after Gogoladze had slowed a little he ground it out and Gogoladze couldnt answer back. Gogoladze started the better but couldnt maintain it, he was also very naughty with the head throughout ;D
Sal you may be right with the knockdown but I cant stick around for the replays ;D
I think I fucked the scores up too but Arthur was a head and going away with it so alls well that ends well.
CC#973 Memphis for the rd. by rd. 8)
mick look PM
Well it's a good thing I didn't ;DQuote:

Up next is Gavin Rees's challange for Souleymane M'Baye's WBA light welterweight title. Rees is a decent fighter but the cards are stacked against him here and although I dont rate M'Baye at all he is better than anything Rees has faced. A tough job at hand to say the least.
Cooky could have made it yet another, don't know what happened to him. :(Quote:

RD 1
Rees takes the opener with flurries of left and right hooks to the body. M'Baye hasnt started yet.
10-9 Rees
this jobber cant even afford a robe
RD 2
Rees again with the pint scoring flurries. Rees is allowing M'Baye to jab and then shooting underneath to unload. Not hurtfull punches but they are clean and scoring. Rees getting cocky towards the end of the round, might be a bit premature with that.
20-18 Rees
RD 3
Another in the bank for Rees, same pattern ass before with left and right hooks downstairs. M'Baye has woken up now and is landing some decent chopping right hands but not enough to take the round.
30-27 Rees
RD 4
Four zip to Rees, M'baye as yet has no answer to his swarming attacks. In the opener it looked like M'Baye was letting Rees have his fun but would take charge soon enough, Im not sure the champ knows how to you know.
40-36 Rees
CC Memphis....thanks for filling in for me....damn my parents and their silver wedding! Anyhow, good to see Rees has started well, I really don't like M'baye as a champion and although Rees isn't properly tested, it'd be nice to see him bring the belt back to Wales.
Bloody hell Rees is putting on some hurt in those body shots..... :o
RD 5
Rees took his foot off the gas a little in the fifth but still won it on account of M'Baye offering nothing back. Im not sure what M'Baye's problem is but he will watch his title slip away if he doesnt get his arse in gear.
50-45 Rees
RD 6
Another for Rees, he is outpunching and outmanouvering M'Baye, he's also out jabbing him when he wants to. He's taking the piss with him now to be honest. He hurt M'Baye with right cross too in that round
60-54 Rees
Gawddarnit....Rees looking good and could become Wales' 10th world champion, and I'm sitting here reading it on a RBR. Memphis, for the love of the lord don't lose your internet connection, otherwise I'll be a broken man.
Come ON GAV!!!!
RD 7
I was right, M'Baye has no answer, at the moment there is nothing he can do to stop Rees from outworking him every round. He landed probably his best punch of the night bang on Rees chin at the death but Rees took it no problem.
70-63 Rees
RD 8
A quieter round that one but none the less another one for Rees. M'Baye is hoping to connect with a big right hand but I just cant see it. Rees made sure of it with further flurries in the final ten. Top work from Rees
80-72 Rees
I was rooting for Gavin Rees until he started to act cocky. He's setting himself up for a fall with all the showboating. Why can't fighters just fight without all the nonsense in between? Nothing puts me off a fighter more than being a cocky twat in the ring, smiling when they get hit etc.
Hopefully Rees ends up on his behind and realises that he's there to fight, not be a cocky little so and so.
Edit: modified some of the language ;D
Rees is really doing it :o
I know french and in M'bayes corner they were telling him to use his distance and jab, jab, jab. They also told him he was letting him take the rounds just because hes throwing more then you.
