hatton vs. mayweather by a landslide.
Cotto vs. Mosley would sell more tickets, if it's at MSG.
Hatton-Mayweather would sell way more PPVs.
Hatton-Mayweather easily.
Hatton Mayweather
Hatton-Mayweather would sell more, but if I was restricted to 1 of the 2 I would buy Cotto-Mosley.
Hatton's fight would sell more but I'd be way way more excited for Cotto Mosley.
Actually this would make for a great mini tournament with the winners fighting each other. In fact with Williams, De La Hoya, Cintron and Margarito as well we could have an excellent 8 man tournament.
If this was the UFC these fights would be guaranteed to be all made and concluded by Christmas, how I wish Dana White and Zuffa could replace King, Arum and Gary Shaw etc.
You're comparing apples to oranges, though. The UFC is one league where everyone is under the authority of the same person.Quote:

It's not King and Arum you'd want replaced, instead you'd want one commissioner replacing the WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO, etc.
Exactly... and if Dana White and Zuffa only had control over certain fighters while other promoters had a chokehold on others and different titles etc., Dana white would be/seem just as big a menace to his sport as King or Arum are.. If Don King promoted every single boxer out there and had the last word over every sanctioning body, what reason would he have to stop the best matchups from being made?Quote:

Like many have said I would rather see Cotto - Mosley but Hatton - Maywether would be bigger.
I think Top Rank and GBP will promote and hype this fight very well and you know how good they are doing that kind of stuffQuote:

not so much that, it's just everybody knows that Cotto/Hatton is a way better clash of styles than Mayweather/Hatton, it's almost certain that there would be a war in the ring if they get it on, when in Mosley/Cotto and Hatton/Mayweather theres only about 40% chance that it'll be a slugfest and a 60% chance it'll be a dominating boring performance by PBF, so if i had to choose i'd say Mosley/Cotto, cause both like to bang, true Cotto more than Mosley (he's the smarter boxer), but yea i think Hatton/Cotto would be better than the other two, mainly cause of styles
PPV's - Hatton v Mayweather
Tickets - Cotto v Mosley in MSG would outsell Hatton v Mayweather in the US, but if Hatton's next fight was in the UK, it could be against a dustbin and it'd out sell Cotto v Mosley.
I think both are amazing match-ups but for different reasons. Hatton v Mayweather is classic boxer v slugger. The styles clash is exactly that of Leonard v Duran, whereas Cotto v Mosley is going to be a clash of crisp technique, speed vs accuracy and moments of all out war, just like De La Hoya v Mosley, except Cotto is probably has a bigger punch, but not as effective defence. If I'd never seen boxing before then Mosley v Cotto will most likely be a better fight to watch, but personally Hatton v Mayweather excites me more.
Hatton can bring 10,000 across the pond. Mayweather has his fans. It'll sell more.Quote:

they had mayweather vs. judah there, and it ALMOST sold out
Any fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr on it has to be a borefest. He has shown us that he is no longer willing to fight. He just runs for 12 rounds. Who cares about his fights? People will pay to watch Hatton more than they will pay to see Floyd the android.
