I voted Kessler Calzaghe probably due to their styles. Taylor hasn't been too much of a crowd pleaser lately, even though we know Pavlik is going to bring it.. Mayweather/Hatton has a slim chance of turning into a toe to toe battle.. but it seems that Kessler/Calzaghe seems to be the fight that will really be a round by round battle. Probably because it's the most heavy weightclass of the 3 bouts listed.. there will be no running. At least i think Kessler/Calzaghe has the best CHANCE to be a crowd pleasing matchup.. not to say the others don't have a chance.
I voted for PBF and Hatton, but I have to add that this is when boxing is at it's best. I hate all this speculation of who would win.
I think all 3 fights will be exciting if just for the fighters it will...
I think the fights will in this order of excitement;
Pavlik vs. JT
Kessler vs. Joe
Hatton vs. PBF
I think what makes the Hatton-PBF less credible as far as excitement is PBF's style, when you look at the other 2 fights from the 4 fighters I think JTs the one who would probably be the most cautious.... But I don't think Pavlik will give the room to do so...
So my vote goes to Pavlik-JT.
I got
1) Taylor vs PAvlick
2) JC vs Kessler
3)
4)
5)
6)
7)PBF vs HAtton (Bore Fest)
You ask why Borefest. PBF is not 1 punch KO but with Hatton Wide Open PBF will be temted to Hit him Hard and we all know that when HAtton is in the Ring when someone can hurt him he will start to try to cut the Ring and once he does it he will Hold or PBF will Hold it will be a complete LOVE FEST. with I call it BORE FEst
I think bautista vs de leon will be better than all three. I would of voted that but since its not one of the catagories I went with kessler calzagne because floyd and hatton are both boring, a runner and a hugger and j.t has not look entertaining since the winky fight I like pavlik though but I think j.t will find a way to beat him.
Hatton points winQuote:

Hatton Mayweather hasn't been hyped yet? It has nothinb to live upto at the moment....I went with Pavlik Taylor. I pick Jermaine.
Somebody's O got to go !!
All three fights should be good. Voted for Cal/Kess as there's guaranteed action in that one, also looking forward to see Taylor and Mayweather against fighters who'll force them to throw more punches.
I really think Pavlik is going to bring the best out of JT and this fight is going to be action packed all the way to the end.
^
Agreed, I like this fight as if Taylor truely doesn't work for it a new more deserving Champion will be crowned, however, Alternatively (and hopefully) it may signal the emergence of Jermaine Taylor as a force with a dominating win
They are all gonna be good fights IMO but taylor pavlik is the choice for me. People are too busy hating on somebody of the other fights to really hype this one up. "Calzaghe/ Kessler's record is padded" "Floyd has ducked people" "Hatton's overrated" No time to hate on JT ;D.
The surprise fight imo will be the so called re-birth of jermaiin against pavlik. Don't hate me for this but i see hatton getting beat a lot easier than most think and i think everyone expects a war between kessler and joe so i think taylor will shock a lot of people and win this poll
im guessin thas in ur perfect worldQuote:

In my Perfect World...
Hatton W12 Mayweather,
Calzaghe Ko 10 Kessler,
Taylor Ko 4 Pavlik
I'm going to have to go with Taylor v Pavlik because of Kelly's aggressive style and JT has a point to prove. Not a fan of Calzaghe think he is massively over rate and beat a very limited fighter in Jeff Lacey and haven't seen much of Kessler. Mayweather will use his super efficient style of pot shotting and backing up to get a UD or KO depending on how frequently he is able to land, Hatton doesn't have the style to beat Floyd as you need a good technical game to cause him problems someone like a Winky Wright with a good solid jab (to neutralize his speed and back him into a corner) and tight defense (to avoid the quick counters)
I voted Kessler Vs. Calzaghe.
And I am hoping it will be free for US viewers.
I don't hate you, Mar. You speak the truth.Quote:

For me personally, it's impossible for Taylor/Pavlik to be anything but a brawl considering how Pavlik WILL force Taylor to exchange. Don't get me wrong I like Taylor, but I have a hard time seeing him being so defensively sound that he'll be able to elude the exchanges that are going to take place.
I see people on the board here recently talking of how this is the best year in boxing history... well maybe so
I reckon Hatton, Kessler & Taylor are gonna lose their 0s
Hopefully not tho :)
Hope Hatton doesn't ;)Quote:

No doubt mayweather will have his moments in the fight but Ricky will do whatever it takes to get the advantage even if that includes a bit of holding and throwing him around like a rag doll. It may not be the cleanest fight but being a little biased i dont mind as long as hatton pulls off the win.
Taylor by late KO- I reckon this is the fight that will earn JT the recognition he deseves. His last several fights have been poor performances due to both a clash of styles and his lack of will to engage in a fight but he has still managed to get the bettter of great fighters such as Hopkins, Wright, Ouma and Spinks. This time though he's facing a fighter who is coming with the aim to knock his block off so hopefully we will witness a real tearup. I think Pavliks size and strength will cause problems early on but JT will have the skill and experience to KO an exhausted challenger in the later rounds.
Calzaghe and Kessler i just cant pick!!! - Being a Calzaghe fani cant imagine him being defeated in his home city in the biggest fight of his carear but he has been the top supermiddle for a hell of a long time and if anyone can end the reign I have a gut feeling it will be the great Dane. Kessler's style may be a little robotic but he's a powerful puncher and couild be the man to finaly Ko Calzaghe, so what the hell i will take my ass off the fence and pick Kessler no cant do it i'll go calzaghe!! Sh*t put me back on that fence i cant decide!!
As far as expectations go, I think Kessler & Calzaghe both have a very positive ''come to fight'' attitudes.
I love all 3 of these match ups, for me though I'm most anticipating Hatton v Mayweather.
They're all great matchups.
Taylor-Pavlik is intriguing to me cause I really don't have a good idea how its gonna play out. I mean for some reason I think Taylor will pull it out but if Pavlik can press through Taylor's punches-and I think his power has to be questioned-and really press the fight and throw a lot of punches then how is Taylor gonna react. Its not like he's got that great defensive skills, Pavlik should be able to hit him some and I guess then its up to how Taylor's chin reacts.
me too. i'd like to see how the hatton-pbf fight would go but i believe the kess-cal fight would be more action packed.Quote:

Personally I think Mayweather Hatton wont be as close as people think it is. Taylor is going to be out cold on the mat by the 10th round. I voted Kessler - Calzaghe. I think that its about time Calzaghe stepped up and fought out of his country and he didnt fight a past prime nobody. I think Kessler will win by tko before the 10th.
Mayweather will win by easy UD unless Hatton wilts a little more than he's expecting from the body shots. Hatton is uncomfortable with those extra 7 pounds.
Calzaghe will be Calzaghe. Kessler probably looks like a notch to him.
This will be Taylor's coming out party. Jermain's last 72 rounds have come against guys who don't stand and fight; they move. Pavlik will come straight forward with plenty of bang. I think Taylor's 4th fight under Steward will show how much he's absorbed from the master trainer and he will, for 6 rounds, turn into a boxing Michaelangelo, painting Pavlik into the canvas.
Kessler-Calzaghe will be exciting in a one-sided kind of way. Kessler will destroy him
I think the Taylor and Pavlik fight will be the one too watch, Taylor's fights sucked ass lately but i think this will be the fight where he will finally show what he is made of and will be the fight of the year. I also think The Sugar and Cotto fight will be very exciting, Especially when sugar knock his A$$ out. O0 Floyd and Hatton will be a bore fest and Kessler and Calzaghe will be a decent fight. It will be even better if Kessler knock his punk A$$ out. ;D
I think Pavlik vs Taylor will be the best match up for the fans. Pavlik wants that KO and Taylor has something to prove because his last couple fights haven't exactly been good for the sport, especially for an undisputed champ. I have a gut feeling Pavlik will take this one by a close decision.
Calzhage and Kessler will be a very good fight as well. I hope Kessler dominates Calzhage but I dont think that will be the case. My mind says Calzhage will get the homecourt advantage decision.
There's nothing more in the world i would love to see than for Mayweather to eat the canvas. Don't get me wrong, I think Mayweather is an amazing boxer, but I don't think he has what boxing needs to become mainstream again. Even though my heart wants Hatton to break down PBF's body, I just don't see anyone dictating the pace of a fight against Mayweather. PBF wins a one-sided decision.
