who wins this fight?
leave your pick and thoughts!
Morales ;D
Morales has been "gone" for a while now and last time was the total finisher.
Morales to get worn down and stopped/saved late.
Hope i'm wrong.
I voted for Erik Morales. I think this bout is a good match.
David Diaz is young and hungry, but I don't think he deserves to be in no.3 behind Julio and Juan in lightweight category. For me he's just a little overhyped.
who wins this fight?
Diaz.
I don't think morales has it anymore.
Morales will win. No matter how shot he is. He's still the better fighter.
I used that logic on gatti-gomez. :-\Quote:

And I actually really hope I'm right because it's my star pick in this week's contest ;D
Not always but it is starting to become a habit.Quote:

I think Morales' experience will be the difference
I think if Erik boxes Diaz he should win a UD. He could have problems if he wants to get into a war. He should fight this like the Ayala fight.
Very much agreed. Good example is Berto vs Reviera on espn just last friday. Although Berto won by decision, Reviera gave him many kinds of trouble by using his experience from elite fighters that he fought.Quote:

Morales is indeed better than gatti but diaz is way better than gomez so its about the same situation.Quote:
