I think this could be a really good match up after there terrible last fight, especially if danny is as light as the article says

Williams...Diet......IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
so the British heavyweight roundabout carries on ...
I really cannot believe how Frank can justify this one.
sad for Skelton really.
PLEASE NOOOOO it will be like watching paint dry
Not really. Skelton is better off getting well rid of the domestic scene. Maybe if he focused on some stiff European competion.Quote:

Flipping heck...if Danny Williams is a stone lighter than he was against Gammer, he's pretty much a big mac above 15 stone....if he puts in a bit more work he could swap places with David Haye and go into the cruisers.
I agree that Skelton is better off finding some european fighters, but after that snoozefest, and his previous one against Williams, we know Skelton will never ever headline a bill again, unless it is for the world title.
Williams would win. When he's in shape, he's Britains best Heavyweight, and the only one who shows any sign of being able to dethrone a world champion. Skelton is just horrible.
I don't think Danny's reduced weight made such a difference to his win over Gammer last time.
He fought like a loser for a few rounds till it dawned on him that even though he's shot-to-shit he's light years better than Gammer so might as well win the fight.
I thought it was more than that. He was motivated. He actually cared. Danny can box when he wants to, but he lets himself down at times. Don't get me wrong, he's no Lewis, but apart from his loss to Audley, his career makes me mildly happy.Quote:

Why do they keep fighting eachother this gets nowhere both men have be promised title shots so many times but are wasting time keep fighting eachother the 1st fight was sort of ok it was still untidy and not a very good watch and 2nd fight was just plain horrible Williams fought like he was in slow motion and didn't even try and win and this is future for British Heavyweights ?? i think i'll pass.
I wish it was that exciting !!Quote:

This would be the ideal opportunity for Eurosport to get back into the mix of British boxing, and this absolute guaranteed snoozer wouldn't clog up valuable time on proper sports channels.Quote:

Williams should and will beat Matt Skelton if they fight again.
I agree if he is 1000% . Sometimes he turns up in awful conditionQuote:

he has a good sense of humour aswell!
