Clottey fighting tonight on Versus. Just about to start.
I'm watching right now and been waiting for this one. I'm a big Clottey fan and too bad he busted his hands up with Margarito; he was owning that guy. I'd like to see a rematch of that fight ;)
Has his fight started? Damn I'm stuck here at work...
ROund 1: Clottey takes it easy for the first minute, FLores lands some light jabs. Then Clottey opens up, jabbing and throwing combos. Lands some hard left hooks to the body and some counter uppercuts. He is definitely the bigger, stronger, faster, sharper fighter.
Round to Clottey.

I agree he was winning that fight with ease until the 6th when he broke his hand....
The guy is World Champion able....Solid Chin...Good boxing skills....Hits pretty hard...good stamina....
I think a lot of guys don't want to fight him TBH....Even if you beat him you look bad
Round 2: Clottey is too fast and sharp. Lands crushing hooks to the body and head, right crosses, uppercuts with both hands, etc. He's hitting Flores whenever he wants and FLores can't do much in return.
Round to Clottey, 20-18.
Round 3: In a strange move, Clottey gets up on his toes and starts dancing. Weird, since he was dominating the first 2 rounds while flat-footed. Either he's just trying something different or his hands are hurting... we'll see. Anyway, Flores doesn't land much.
Round to Clottey, 30-27.
Round 4: Fought in a phone booth. Flores is much more aggressive, comes forward, pushed Clottey to the ropes, throws lots of punches. Clottey counters a lot with sharp uppercuts.
Even round. 40-37, Clottey.
Round 5: Headbutt early in the round, no cuts. Clottey gets on his toes and boxes... jab and moves. Throws some sharp uppercuts. Flores follows him around, doesn't really know how to cut off the ring.
Round to Clottey, 50-46.
:coolclick: cheers pea.
Site went down for a few minutes...
It's in Round 9, and the pace has slowed. Seems like Clottey realizes he can't KO Flores and is going to box his way to a decision.
Clottey seems off, compared to other fights. He really needs to stay off the ropes and learn to use a jab.
By the way, when Michael Buffer announced the fight, he started out the intros by saying "Let's Get This Party Started!!!"
Going into the 10th and final round, and Flores definitely needs a KO.
I'd really like to see Clottey work the body alot more, especially when he was on the ropes.
Clottey wins by UD, 97-93, 99-91, 100-90.
Nice tough effort by Flores though.
There's a heavyweight bout coming up, I can't do the RBR, so if someone else wants to do it, go ahead.
thats got to be the longest 10th round ever ??? Pea must a got knocked off line
Hello Guys, Just out of interest on what channel did you watched the fight please?

a tendency to slap. The commentator kept wondering if something was wrong with hands, which showed me he had not seen many Clottey fights. Joshua does this often.
He has great defence to protect his head but not so much for his body,he is actually quite open there.
He gasses, bigtime!! He has done so in nearly all the fights(5 or so) that I have seen of his.
Finally,he can be outworked,outhustled.
He is a great fighter,I have no doubt about that but the more I watch him,the more these flaws become apparent.I'm not sure if he is an elite at welterweight.
