Well for me, i think it's Ray, Ray was in his prime for me a top five p4p ATG.

for me i loved roy jones leonard and pernell. pernell was so slick

It would be close but I'd probably have to take Ray Leonard. Just too big and strong for Pernell IMO, and thats saying something because I'm a HUUUUGE Pernell fan

That fight is a total pickem, they are both all world fighters.... I think people underestimate the effectiveness of a good defense and how it nuetralizes a good offense. Pernell was a perfect fighting machine throught his career, barring his addictions and recovery from them he was a bright bright star in every fight

Leonard was not top 5 p4p atg as for Leonard vs Whitaker i think Leonard is bit better than Whitaker in most departments except defense Leonard wins hard fought decision.

Even though most people are picking SRL, I'm glad to see people are showing Pernell the respect he deserves (no one is saying things like "SRL would destroy him")

Sorry guys Im a big Sweet Pea fan, he wins on a UD. His defense was the best ever.

PFP Whitaker is better.
At 147 Leonard wins, since he started at 147, whereas Pernell had to move up to 147.

That fight would be hard to call but leonard more powerful and 147 was the wieght he started at so Srl all the way by about two rounds i think

I liked watching both guys, them togehter could be boring. I think Sweet Pea would win a boring fight.

Whitaker pulls out the win by about 3 rounds, however, the judges score it for Leonard.

if leonard wins it because leonard wins whitaker i dont see winning this not at welterwieght i think we should make a duran vs whitaker that would be a better on because they are the same weight in the primes i think so lets start that topic

Leonard played with Floyd senior who was the much more experienced at the time. I notice your in the downloads section abit and will send you the fight. It is a good fight, Ice. Sugar did stop Floyd senior.
Floyd Junior is a greatr talent and while a fight with Pernell would be close and fascinating tactically- I just can't see Leonard losing to Floyd. sugar ray is one of the greatest fighters I've been lucky to see.

I think Floyd would of lost to Leonard and Whitaker fight would of been razor thin close what im try to say mate is that even if Mayweather lost he would make great account of himself the worst match up for Mayweather would be Hearns.

agree with you there Ice the reach alone would give PBF problems i think duran would be good fight personally both at lightweight
