Hatton won't be number 1 no.....But if he does knock him out theres only one possible outcome....
Rematch ;D
and then if floyd wins...
Trilogy!! ...Imagine that...be fucking awesome wouldnt it..
A rematch is likely but If I'm Hatton, I will not agree to an immediate rematch. I will psychologically torture PBF first. I'll fight another no good boxer and after giving a beating to that unlucky boxer, I will claim that I am the best pound for pound. Mayweather will get very very angry then that he will desperately ask for a rematch. I will not agree to it unless Mayweather gives me $10 million.lol ;D
oh bruce u know what s gonna happen now???
u gonna get an influx of posts saying not gonna happen not a chance etc..................... ::**
if it does happen im gonna go on about it for months no wait years
its depends on the kayo...if its after rounds of punishment then its won't be as bad..but if its early then i hope those that believe in a God are heading straight for the church, temple, or whatever holy place of worship they can find because the world is about to end....
As improbable as it may be, it only takes one shot to the liver ;)
Hatton will try to make a fight with Cotto (which he'll probably loose). If that fails he'll drop back down to 140 and continue to dominate.
yes Kat. I will let him wait for years. ;DQuote:

if he does that I reckon he will win ;D
It'll be perfect, at least for Hatton fans. It sure would put some more spotlight on boxing, as it would be a huge upset, the biggest since Tyson/Douglas IMO. It also would be a great end to a great year in boxing, and would set the stage for maybe as good or better a year in 2008. It will be real interesting to see what happens in the ring if Ricky does win, especially by k.o., as I would be watching to see if Roger lost his mind and jumped in to start a riot ;DQuote:

Hatton has shone in all of his BIG fights. I think too many people reference the Collazo fight. Lets be honest, how many of us really knew of Collazo prior to the fight and how many of us predicted an easy win for Ricky? Its quite apparent that Collazo was underestimated and this almost cost Hatton dear. Regardless, he won the fight. I think a rematch would see a convincing Hatton win.
Hatton will be ready for Floyd and will be in the best possible shape. He will use a method of approach that Floyd dislikes and which will make Floyd need to work like he hasnt needed to in a while. Hatton does have power and when he unloads to the body it can be guaranteed that it will hurt. As the Castillo fight showed, all it takes is for one to land clean.
Hatton is as gutsy as they come and not just gutsy in the vein of Gatti. Hatton has ring smarts and experience. He is no plodding banger. Look at the opening rounds against Urango. He boxed BEAUTIFULLY. Hatton knows what he needs to do but can alternate styles if and when the moment calls for it.
Hatton must not be underestimated. He is a threat to Floyd.
read my post on the other thread that will explain this whole situation ;) i want someone to comment on it because im bored and i want a good arguement.Quote:

In fact, you should post a link where somebody says that Mayweather is invincible because I (and everybody else ;)) have yet to see that.
All most people are saying is that Hatton is not gonna beat Mayweather.
Hope this helps ;)
hmmmmmmmmm did i say that it's been said??
no
but it's the impression that is being given off
and u hope it helps what ?????
im not seein this fight through tinted glasses i trully believe Hatton can do it and if he dont
oh well my life wont be over
and i think u'll find that quite a few will be backing Hatton
and i refuse to get into an argument with u every time i make a post on this fight because i think thats rather childish dont u ?
u have ur views i have mine
youll be watching the fight thru stirrups hahaha!!! ;DQuote:

I think you're underestimating the huge difference in skill here....this will be a MAMOTH upset if it happens a la Depmsey-Willard, Tyson-Douglas, or Tarver-RJJ II
It will surely be an upset, but I disagree with it not being a shock if he does. If by chance Ricky knocked Floyd out{which I believe is the only way he can win}, it would :shocking: people like nothing since Tyson/Douglas, even I think some of Ricky's staunchest backers. I'd be shocked to see it go to a decision, either a stoppage by the 8th due to Ricky's face being mutilated, or a k.o. by Rick. No way will this go to the cards IMO.Quote:

This is a quality matchup and a fight Ricky has every chance of winning. Maybe you underestimate the the ferocity and also skills that Ricky has. He has an all round game that many of Floyds recent opponents dont have.
Mayweather is fighting neither Gatti nor Baldomir here. But instead is fighting a hungry undefeated and confident Mancunian.
Ricky is as tough as they come.
I think ure forgetting that Hatton is a 2 weight undefeated world champion! He is the underdog but at the end of the day Hatton is a class act. It wont be anywere near as bad as ure making it out to be. I think Hattons going to win to be honest.Quote:
