Pacquaio is the favorite by bettors. +285. I just hope he lives to the expectations. If not, many will go bankrupt.hehehe. ;D

You think it will go off that high come fight time?Quote:

Barrera knows him now, I'm sure he won't be planning to trade with him like he did last time. There is a great chance he may resort to being a boxer again and just stay outside and outbox Manny for a decision win.
Pacquiao for all his excitment and explosiveness is still largely a one dimensional fighter.
Not a gimme by any means, at those odds Barrera is worth a gamble.
I doubt though that the odds will still be the same come fight time. O0
A wise gambler though will bet on Manny considering how Manny demolished Barrera at peak during their first encounter. A loyal gambler will bet on Barrera and will consider the "surprise" factor as the reason for Barrera's last defeat from Manny. O0
I'd like to bet on Barrera. :)
I like both fighters but I'd hold off on making any bets on MAB. If history has proven anything with him, he can't help himself when it comes to getting into a brawl. He can box great when he wants to but he has that warrior mentality which could cost him.Quote:

those odds won't mean anything, it'll reduce down to about 5-15 come fight night.
Im putting my money on Barrera hes got nothing to loose and all to gain so you know he is gonna come well prepared for this fight and he is by far the more skilled and experienced well rounded fighter Im expecting Marco to out box Pacman :o
Outboxing Pacman will be a tall order for BArrera. Outskilled maybe.... O0
"Pacquiao was the underdog when he first met Barrera at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas almost four years ago. And his 11th round knockout of Barrera proved a lot of oddsmakers wrong."
Odd makers can be full of sh1t sometimes. They didn't know Pac that well, that's why they were wrong.
Gotta remember back in 2003 Barrera was at the peak of his pwers and Pacquiao wasn't anything like the force he is now in terms of reputation. You get wins like this all every now and then, Hatton beating Tszyu, for example, where the guy wasn't the favourite but he was the better fighter.Quote:

Barrera when interviewed confessed that he will prepare for this fight more than he had prepared for Morales, NAz and everybody he had faced in boxing. That's something. Barrera means business here.
We may be in for a surprise if Barrera lives up to his legendary name. O0
had a dream pac knock out mab in the first round but last time I had a dream of boxing oscar (or atleast I think it was oscar) knock out maywheather. We all know how that went. floyd cruise to a s.d. and we know how judges would at times judge to get a rematc, but in this case a trilogy. Or maybe mab will be the one knocking out pac :-\
I pick pac to win but my dream just may have told me the opposite, boxing is a lot like dreams....Both Are Fucking Unpredictable!!!!
ive a feeling Barrera's going to win this, ill probably throw an auld bet down as well,
not sure why i think Barrera will win, im hoping he uses his boxing skills and chooses not
to trade with Pac, if he does theres no reason he can't win!
Really can't see Pac losing this one. I have to go with the oddsmakers, not that high though.
The night Barrera fought nin the US for the first time-days after his 18th b-day, he was 21-0, 14kos- I was at ringside and I don't think I've missed a half dozen fights since. Barrera lost to Pac because he is well past his best and has been for some time. (much like Juan Manuel Marquez- I saw his 6th pro fight). Maybe he can pull it together one last time and beat Pac but I doubt it. Make no mistake, Barrera was the far superior fighter. The MAB of 1997 would've eaten Manny. But not anymore.
I don't think so. Prime Barrera vs Prime Manny, i'd go for Manny. O0
1997 mab vs what year pac?Quote:

For everyone that want to make the excuses of prime vs prime, don't forget eric jmm and mab reach there prime at the 126 division. Pacman might has just reach his at 130. Everybody said pac wasn't going to carry his speed and power at 126, everybody said pac can't knock out guys at 130 because he'll give up speed and power. Pac may not have that one punch k.o like he did at the 126 division and below, but at 130 I think his even more dangerous reaching his prime and not slowing down.
This is the reason why I can claim that Manny going 135 is also feasible for him. Morales who was considered retirable after his defeat from Pacman's hands was still able to floor Diaz. Pacman was never floored by Morales. O0Quote:

I reckon Pac will do Barrera again. Pacs got a little better, Barrera a little softer.
Im not sure about Pac up at 135. Its not like he's draining shat loads to get to 130. He's strong there.
The odds are no surprise to me. Pac was always going to be big favourite as the books opened up for this one.
If the best 3 are Pac, Marquez and Barrera then considering Barrera's last outing, Barrera has a very solid chance of pulling an upset. He beat Marquez (despite the cards). If Barrera lost convincingly to Marquez then I would say he hasnt a chance. But he was as sharp as he has been for a long time in those opening rounds and brawled when he needed to.
He has the perfect mix of smarts and knowing when to throw. Barrera is one of the smartest technicians out there now. A final great Barrera fight is not beyong expectation.
According to Roach, MAB is in deep sh*t.

that flu concerns me. i think it was from one of the spectators who watched Pacquaio's training. hope he recovers immediately. Pacquaio has only 1 month more to prepare.
The flu is gone. I think he sparred 6 rounds today.Quote:

I don't care if Pacquiao is solid pick or how many people doubt Barrera i have been Barrera fan for years and that will never change so im going with my boy Barrera to pull off an upset.
Yeah! That's the spirit! :appl:Quote:

ICE COLD,
you asked me if it was a cc,sc or sig bet. I replied before that I will decide after the fight. since you have a sig bet already with Pacstraight, I'm left with cc as our bet. I don't like giving SCs.
You will give me 30 cc if I win, vice versa.
is that Ok with you?
Yes.Quote:
