Roach threatens to leave training camp!

Ok,so I thought Manny had distractions going home to train but then I also thought hey,he always has distractions,it's no big deal. Now,however,I think things are getting more serious. You can read the article at boxing scene but basically,Roach is annoyed that training camp is still attracting too many viewers,obviously making it harder to focus. Roach is unimpressed with the number of people coming and the effect it may have on Manny. Things sound bad. I think there are also articles at philboxing.com??

Looking good for MAB so...Articles from Manny's training camp all seem to be indicating sparse training and tons of distractions.
Every time i hear of news from Marco's camp (which is pretty rare.,) i hear Marco is stepping up his training.

You never know how much is blown up BS or not though

Thats tru Daxx, roach could be tryin to make MAB a little overconfident, perhaps tryin to trick marco into coming out blazin only to be met by a fully ready Pac Man.
But i dunno, it feels all wrong.

The press are coming up with similar garbage every time Pacman fights, yet in the ring he always looks 100%. I wouldn't read too much into this at all.

Im trying to picture Marco with the mohak and all the gold chains LOL. It does remind me of that ,but I think it os all either fabricated by Roach to try to maybe make Marco think he has it in the bag, or completly false. However if it is true it will have no effect on Marcos training or gameplan when he steps into the ring.

Agreed. Manny is the big favourite and any change withing camp will be pounced upon by the media.

Im sure Pac knows the task in hand, he has said so in weeks only recently past.

It's all propaganda, I don't MAB's camp is buying it.

Usually I would say that it was all propoganda but this time,I mean there are quotes from Roach himself and he does not seem to come across as the kind of guy to BS,he'll tell it how it is. I believe Roach is pissed but I'm not sure how Manny's training is going.

Yeah, could be. I wonder if those stories about Manny & that actress are plants too? I heard his wife Jinkee was watching him train - maybe to keep an eye on him?

Never a good idea to have ladies around while u train, big distraction even for the most admirable of pros.

I have been posting before that there will be many distractions in the Philippines for Manny. If BArrera beats Manny (which I do not want to happen coz of my sig bet), it's because Barrera is hungrier and Manny is unable to handle limelight. Hope the fight don't turn out the same way in Rocky IV.

The doors of the RWS Gym will be closed starting today. I hope Manny will step up training coming into the 3rd week. He should start sparring intensely by today.

I have read from the newspaper that Roach was not happy about the gym being open to the public. Good that they have heed to the advise of Roach.

Yes you are right,Roach wants to concentrate. Well i was there in the gym and it was really a circus! But im glad Manny is in good condition physically;mentally i doubt it very much. This is Roach concern.

Anyway they can catch up when they start closing the gym doors by today.

Jimrex Jaca was there and some upcoming Filipino fighters like Van Bantilan who is undefeated in 13 fights and has 8 kos.

It's nice you have realized that you are not needed in PAcman's training.Hope other fans also realize this. Maybe after the fight, you can do again the picture taking.

Try and look them up in boxrec. I tell you they are TERRIFIC!

Wha was the mad man that took him on in a street brawl? That guy has big balls.

Manny is relatively a small guy. Though he may be stronger against opponents of the same size, he won't stand a chance against a 300 pounder.hehehe. If I am that 300-pounder guy, I'll brawl with Manny anytime, anywhere.hehehe.
