Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
Zab is now calling out Kermit Cintron according to boxingtalk.com.
This is good for Zab, but first he needs some tune-ups against a couple journeymen.
This clown he's fighting on September 7th will work, then he should try to set up a match with Margarito (another journeyman) in order for him to get some work in, and get his confidence back up. Once he disposes of those two "D level," fighters, he should be ready for another title shot (one where the opponent isn't allowed to throw low blows and elbows) to restore his status as a top 5 p4p fighter.
Look out 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here comes Zab Judah, and he's hungry.

Zab's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond a second chance.
I think he's more along the lines of a cat has nine lives,
But ultimately I think the saying that sums him up best is that a coward dies a thousand deaths.............

Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
Judah should call out the guys at 140 like malignaggi, if he wants to be a champ again.

Judah is cool and all and is a very talented fighter. He could beat Cintron, I agree with all that. But you need to quit trying to rattle people's cages by callin Margarito a "D level fighter". Thats BS and you know it. Off Judah's last fight against Cotto, brave of an effort as it was, I'd have to pick Margarito to stop him if they fought anytime soon. Judah must get his confidence back and at least get a few wins under his belt, because just like Cotto, Margarito NEVER stops coming.

I'm finding it difficult to remember the last time Judah got a win. He has no business getting another title shot.

Frozensolid is so optimistic with his boy. Got to admit, it takes a lot of courage (and a lowered IQ) to believe that his boy is coming back STRONG and to say that Margarito is D level which obviously he himself does not believe to be such.

Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
Would anyone like to see Judah fight Mayweather again ?
-
Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
He was also coming back strong when he was calling out Cotto. And all he could manage was to display was how to get beat with style.

hahaha. I knew you'd post something about Judah. I think Cintron would be dangerous for him. I think he should fight Margarito and work his way back up with a couple more wins to set up a Mega fight with Mosley. After that than he'll be back on top and then can challenge the power punchers such as Cintron, or even a DLH. OOr he could always go back to 140 and clean out the weight division. I think He and Magg would give a great fight. Even though I think Judah would win.

Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
Stop trying to get a rise out of people by calling Margarito D Level. It makes you look silly and uninformed.

Margarito isn't journeyman he lost to very skilled Welterweight like Williams and made good account of himself Margarito would clean Judah's clock he wouldn't be able to take the pressure.
And if the fight does happen im willing to take a bet with you.
-
Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
Margarito IS a good fighter, although i dont feel he looked good against williams. Notorious for being a slow starter Margarito really didn get started until well after the 6th round, looked quite pedestrian and still won some rounds.
He's a good fighter, anyone who puts forward an arguement to the contrary obviously has the Williams fight in mind. I would reccomend to truely judge Margarito u shud watch some of his more characteristic performances....
-
Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
I am no Margarito fan and I like zab enough.
But margarito would knock zab out. Margarito would eat all zab's punches then late in the fight zab would see that margarito is still there and crumble. Margarito almost made williams fall apart late in the fight, but williams was so active and had such heart it didnt matter.
Judah is half as active as williams and even though he is a lot more skilled then Margarito he doesnt have the resolve to make it through the fight.
If Margarito is anything, he tough and persistent. Judah doesnt like to deal with that combination!

I thought Judah was full from eating all those punches Chef Cotto served him. Although some of those low blows were a little bitter...

If and when zab wins another fight, this will be a much better topic.

It's frozenSolid, He's proven that he is a true Judah fan. I like that. Stick behind your fighter 100%. I do think Judah needs a big win or just a win period....badly!

Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
Zab Judah would get k.o.'d by Tony, no way he can take Margarito's constant pressure without folding up like a lawn chair :lolhaha: And no way Judah beats Paulie at 140, Paulie took a huge beating from Cotto and stayed all night with him, so you know Zab couldn't take him out. Zab was pretty much finished, as much as I hate to say it, when Kostya put a cattle prod job on him.
I'll say one thing; FrozenSolid is a loyal dude, for real. This guy will stick with his boy till the end, and that is an admirable and rare trait. I'll be the first to eat my words on here if Judah comes back strong. CC to Frozen for being loyal to the point of being fanatical about it; I gave up on Zab a long time ago.

Agreed..Zab wins the first part of the fight but once Margarito gets into his groove he owns Zab
Same for Paulie...No way Judah KO's him or hurts him seriously...Truth is IMO in that fight Judah gets frustrated by his in ability to hurt Paulie and Paulies style.....Ending up in another Zab Judah fiasco with Malinaggi keeping his title
-
Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
Haha very nice. The title alone made me sad. I mean Zab fans have been saying he's coming back strong for 5 years now and just now are people tiring. Please, he still hasn't recovered from his loss to Baldomir, much less the other two.
-
Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
HATERS.......zab will destroy just tell him to fire his father and get a real trainer
just use the left uppercut and hes going to win
-
Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
Unless Zab is able to miraculously get a new brain...he will never be a force in the sport. I think pretty much everyone can agree that he is physically a very talented fighter...but he is one of the weakest and most unstable minds in the sport. You are guaranteed a mental breakdown from him in nearly any fight. So while i am not a huge fan of Tony, Margarito would dispatch of Zab...as would Cintron. Not that they are more talented fighters than Zab...but Zab just doesn't have the mental discipline to compete on a high level.

Zab only needs workrate chin stamina better mental state better defence then he would be monstor for his weight 8)

Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
I dont like Margarito but he would KO Judah no doubt about it. Judah is a choke artist everytime he had a big fight he gets his ass whooped. Cotto distroyed him and forget the low blow excuse they were accidental and Judah isn't exactly an angel when it come to doing that now is he. Mayweather was on the way to KOing him until Judah cheated. Hell even a journeyman like Baldomir beat Judah. The kids done for he is never going to beat anyone half decent especially at WW.

I agree on the first 2 points, but to take up the profession he has I doubt the word coward describes Zab
Actually I'd question why he shaves his eyebrows long before I question his bravery O0

Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
I think Cintron will KO Judah as bad as Kostya Tszyu did. And Margarito would really hurt Judah's feelings.
-
Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
All of you that doubt the force that is Zab Judah, are only doing so because you allow your hatred from Judah to blind you from the truth.
Zab is 2 or 3 fights away from being a champion again.
September 7th you will all see the truth with your very own eyes, but it will only be the beginning.

Judah will maybe win a belt at the weak 140 division but other than that no way he can't beat any of the elites at 147 Williams, Mayweather, Margarito, Cotto, Mosley, this division is too good for Judah.

Judah does have a mean left uppercut. It's so fast and it comes out of nowhere. The problem is that it only stuns top level fighters.
If he had a LITTLE more power on it he would have KTFO of Cotto and Tszyu they both got tagged by it pretty well!
-
Re: Zab Judah is coming back strong!!!!!
Read the whole interview.
He said once he wins this tune up fight he wants to fight Margarito or Paul Williams and that if he could get by one of them then he'd like to fight the winner of the Cotto Mosley fight. And said if he wins a title from Cintron or Williams that he'll give Cotto a title shot regardless. He said Cotto beat him when he was at his best so he wants revenge.
No crap Zab actually admitted someone beat him at his best :o He said something like "I give no excuses, I fought the best I could that night and he was the better man, thats why I want to fight him again"
Well I think Zab needs more then ONE tuneup fight before he fights Margarito or even Cintron.
One thing he ISN'T is afraid to fight the best in his division even if he does lose to the majority of them at least he isn't pussyfooting around it like the heavyweihgt 'champs'

Gotta hand it to ol' frozen..... he's nothing if not a faithful fan. You know what? I used to hate Zab with a passion. But after seeing him get manhandled by Cotto, I've softened my stance on him a little bit. He just needs to mature a little and get down to business. He can still do some damage in the division. (Just don't throw him in there with Cintron.... he's liable to get himself killed).
;D
