It wasnt that bad, go look at the highlights i posted yesterday about half way down the first page and decide for yourself. Personally i have seen alot worst stoppages.

Holt reckons someone in the corner tried to pull his foot from Torres corner and is trying to get the decision overturned.

he isnt saying it was one of torres cornermen, he is saying a fan did it, but from torres corner, im gonna watch the fight in a few hours

I thought it was the beer that had been thrown that was the problem with his feet slipping !

I've seen a highlights clip from a spanish channel and it looked an action packed and eventful fight. Stoppage looked fine.

I had no complaints with the stoppage. It seemed OK.

But seriously...I reckon the stoppage wasn't that bad, and of course Holt is going to try his best to claim foul play, as many boxers do when they're beaten.

I thought the stoppage was premature and let's hope that if the things happened that he said happened, the WBO will take the appropriate action.

Haven't seen it yet, but I've read a decent number of excuses from Holt now from Holt and enough people say they thought it was a good stoppage to make me think his pride is just dented.

The Holt knocked down was legit. Holt was clearly hurt. But the stoppage was pretty early. The verdict should not be over turned. But a rematch wouldn't be a bad idea

The stoppage was premature, he took some shots but was far from finished, should be a rematch.

That stoppage was BS. When Torres slipped the ref should have stopped the action for a second, and it looked like Torres got a few cheap shots in right after he got up. I know, I know protect yourself at all times, but come on. This was clearly a home town stoppage and I'm pretty sure Holt would have lasted the distance. Beer was getting thrown at the guy for Christ's sake. :o Holt isn't the most exciting fighter in the world, and in the beginning of the video I was hoping it was a good stoppage just for the fact that he had no intentions to engage down the stretch, but by the looks of this video he was screwed.

First I saw the highlights I said it was a bs stoppage but after watching that round Holt appear hurt thats right APPEAR hurt because after the stoppage I could see his reaction but no doubt in my mind he appear HURT.

I think that stoppage was a bit too early! He could have easily fought on IMO. shame really, weres the re-match?

I think the stoppage was fair. I've seen plenty worse than that.

For there to even be this many quesitons has me leaning towards a pre mature stoppage, i didn't see it but man that place sounded like they were fighting in his garage, was it really that bad ????? (for those who saw the fight)

Holt needs to stop crrying, the stoppage was good his head/face was looking at the canvas while Torres hands were flying free.

Also the atmosphere was the same way it was when Valero wen't to Mosqueras hometown of Panama and took his belt.

It's what champions do, they go anywhere and win fights. This time he lost, just go back to the drawing board and get the rhythim going again.
