Pulling while your out on the piss

iv never had much trouble pulling when i have been out with my mates but since iv started goin out and not drinking any alcohol im finding it near impossible, has anyone else ever had this problem when not drinking? its wierd as fuck iv started having them awkward pauses when talking to a lass when im out they seem to last forever and your just thinking (say summat you dick aww fuck this pause has lasted longer than a bic mac at a weight watches meeting) then when you finally say summat you clash then you spend the next few mins sounding like more of a dick saying "no what were you gunna say"..."no you go first". or your dancing and because your sober your thinking (i look a twat) so you end up standing there looking like a boring tit...Or Maybe its just me, haha

Judging by the amount of responces there's either not to many people on here who pick up chicks sober, or nobody drinks.
I wish I could offer some good advice, but I sucked at picking up girls sober, and I've been with the same gal for 5 years now, so any skills I once had are now fully erroded...
If you're just trying to get laid, I've never had any problem lying to them about my job/funds etc.

I think everyones the same. I've only ever chatted someone up sober once (still worked) but it was a lot harder to look interested in what she was saying and make her laugh.

I do not drink. Never have.

I've had to talk my way into every piece of tail I've had. I'm well spoken, but woman do tend to find me boring after the comedy wears thin.

"Mystery Method" (the host of the show on VH1 "The Pickup Artist")

Download all the mp3's or movies you want by these guys. They train guys how to pick up women (completely sober) and ALL their stuff is absolute gold.... After watching any of Mystery Method's DVD's or listening to any David Deangelo stuff, you'll have a tonne of stuff to talk with women about, and they'll practically be stalking you by the end of the night..

Yeah it's lame, but who cares when your the lame guy at the club surrounded by adoring women.

If you're really interested and can't get a hold of much material by these guys, just let me know as i've gathered up a few gig of dvd's & mp3's of this stuff.

At school I don't have that problem but you're right, sober it's A LOT harder and when you're drunk you'll talk to anyone, sober you actually think about what to say and what not to say. It's a lot different.

My Tip1 was to actually TALK to a girl. I've had HUGE troubles with that my whole life, so I really did benifit from the confidence boost and knowing what to say (somewhat). I'm naturally very laid back though so i'm not planning on creeping anyone out or stalking anyone.. . Unless they want me too. ;D

I'm sure this forum is full of boxing casanova's that don't need any help in these matters though...

Honestly if they were that big of casanova's they wouldnt be on here 24/7. I can admit that I am a social failure.

strange enough i gave in to temptation on weds night and got wankered and ended up pulling this bird, and takin her back home (i moved back in with my mam n dad in august) n she turned out to be a right wierdo tellin me to choke her and bite her etc, even to the point of saying "make me cum n ill let you do me up the arse" didnt go down well with my parents especially when i took her downstairs in the morning and my parents said "hi is this your girlfriend? whats her name, and i was like ......err..erm...err" and she had to answer for me, needless to say my parents have said this is not my house i dont pay rent so if i want to bring anyone back i have to have some respect for them and the neighbours.
