Who would win?
I'm going to stick my neck out and say Floyd by decision. Only if he can stick and move for 11 rounds.
De La hoya by KO
Fuck Oscar.
Round 1: Oscar dances around, trying to look like he's a warrior ready to pounce... meanwhile, he also tries to smile and look good for the ringside cameras.
Round 2: Floyd throws a good punch in Oscar's direction... Oscar falls to the canvas and writhes in pain 'cause his hair has been mussed up. Referee reaches the count of 10.
Post-Fight Interview: Oscar swears that he would have gotten up had he been able to, 'cause we all know the kind of warrior he is. Somewhere, millions of real boxing fans are throwing up all at once.
Next-Day Headlines: Oscar is touted as a future Hall of Famer, because he has such a pretty smile and is totally bilingual.
PBF # PFP
Oscar better hope he can catch him and not get KOed.

oscar best asset in the ring is his repuation and the paid judges shortly after that is his boxing intellegence
mayweather is a much better fight than de la hoya even though the first castillo fight was questionable but all of de la hoyas are he got so many BS decisions it reminds me of ali
Insider must be high! Are you comparing Ali to Dela Hoya?
They are to very different fighters. Fighting in two very different times. I think you may not understand the difference between a GREAT fighter and good fighter.
O0
neither are great de lahoya or ALI come on be honest look at both careers anyone knows that ALI was given decisions a few times where it was obvisiously not a win. IT is undeniable that de la hoya had the same done i'm not calling either great boxers what they are is great for the sport they get people behind them like an overrated actor and fill seats which is great for boxing. ALi was a great entertainer and could pump up a fight like no other when it came to the ring he was good not great. Great fighters don't get given wins when it was a clear loss.
Well im going out on a limb here and saying pbf will get ko'd by oscar in the 8th. PBF hasnt beat anyone like dela hoya!
way to talk shit, when Trinidad's ass had to be saved by his father after Hopkins manhandled him, dude Tito only won one round in each of his losses (i thought that the Wright fight was a shutout), at least DLH won a couple rounds and was always the underdog, unlike Trinidad, Tito was expected to KO Hopkins in like 5 rndsQuote:

The question was who would win, Oscar or Maywheather? While Oscar is a very good boxer, Floyd is a great boxer!!!! Even thought Oscar has more power than Floyd, Floyd rarely gets hit flush. People say Floyd does not have power, with 24KO'S he has something!!!!!!!! So if it came down to boxing, Floyd wins. If it came down to browling, Floyd is hard to hit. My prediction is PRETTY BOY by decision!!!!! HE HAS YET TO PROVE ME WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU GUYS BETTER WAKE UP, HE IS THE TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only dodgy decision I can see was the Sturm fight - don't care what anybody says about the Whiatker fight, De La Hoya clearly won, he was raped by the judges against Trinidad and raped by the judges against Mosley in their 2nd fight, so not sure where you're coming from ???Quote:

Thanks ::** If you read the post I was responding to, it was about De La Hoya being gifted fights by judges. I was disagreeing with that!! Thanks for the guidance thoughQuote:

so i guess you didn't say anything before his first fight against CastilloQuote:

completely different, Shane had the power to make De La Hoya move, Floyd doesn't, he does bang as hard as some people think
Hard to say cos mayweather is so untested against ANYONE with proper 140/147 power never mind 154. I'm gonna make my mind up after April 8th but for now I'll say Oscar by KO.
I think that Floyd will win the fight he is more well rounded in my opinion and he is younger than De La Hoya. All around I think Floyd is a better fighter now days than De La Hoya.
you said it....NOW A DAYS ;D welcome to the forum, have a :coolclick:
At this point in time, it is the one who is hungriest for a win and I pick Floyd because Oscar just wants the adulation and the hunger is gone.
floyd
I don't know why anyone would think Oscar cant compete with Floyd? absolutely ridiculous!!Quote:

I'm afraid to say... I think both Mayweather and Hattons aura of invincibility will be shattered within the next 12mths!! and unfortunatley it will probably be before they meet :-\
De la hoya won't be able to stop Floyd's right hand when he comes close, it will be a long night but i see a UD for Floyd
PBF winner by KO with BODYSHOTS!!! I can see that liver punch now..Quote:

I know for a fact DLH did not lose that fight, I watched that fight over and over again, but it still came up the same. Mosley lost that fight and look at the expression on Mosley's face after he found out he won.. Shocked in total dibelief.
Who wins? Both !! with a proposed 55 million dollar purse,
It would be silly not to take this fight for either of them
I say PBF 11th rd TKO
but DLH can still buy a lot of real estate with his take.
ODH has a hell of a chance
bigger, stronger and he's fast just like Floyd.......and he won't knock out ODH, because floyd does not have the power.
If Oscar was in his prime, i'd be picking ODH to win
after last saturday's fight i'd dare to say that even the DLH of today would beat Mayweather
Prime DLH Would murder Pretty boy.
Todays DLH would KO pretty boy, right cross left hook combo :)
Oscar by a brutal knockout. BRUTAL i say.
You know your boxing :pQuote:

PBF is business savvy and would rather make a forturn and possibly lose to a tremendously great fighter and keep his status as a boxer with one small blemish.
