I think so too, Taylor is going to get stopped.
CC for posting this I was waiting for it to re-air.
Cc back
Kelly Pavlik trains like the movie character Rocky Balboa, very old school.
I like Emmanuel Stewart but I don't think he can prepare Taylor for what comes his way.
I watched it this morning over breakfast and what made me laugh right off the bat...
I'm gonna throw 5,000 jabs. - Taylor
Does anyone believe him? Really? :beat:
i want Kelly to win, but Taylor just seems to keep winning, sometimes due to bad judging. I can see hime winning a close decision again.
I just remembered Taylor also said:
I ain't got nothing to prove, he has something to prove. I'm the Middleweight Champion of the World.
My ass! you ain't got nothing to prove.
Yeah he has to prove he is the legit MW champ.Quote:

Pavlik is strong but slow and sloppy. He'll be outclassed and Taylor will look much better against a right hander that will be right in front of him.
I don't think Taylor has anything to prove. He is the MW chanpion. His fights might not have looked the best. But he has faced Hopkins (twice), Winky. Those two are considered two of th emost elite fighters in the world. Then Spinks is just awkward to fight.
Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Pavlik fan and think Kelly will win by 8th round KO/TKO. But you do have to respect Taylor all that he has done and who he has faced. But come the 29th, it will be a good war till Kelly knocks him the f#*@ out. :jabbing:
I'm going against the grain here. I think Jermain will excel against a straight ahead, orthodox opponent and prove everybody wrong. I hope he does to be honest. It would be a shame to have been in there with 2 p4p greats in Hopkins and Winky, then to throw it all away to an up and comer like Pavlik.
I like Emanual but I would like to see Jermain lose just because Manny is a little cocky.
I also dont bet against guys that flip tires over to get into shape. Thats just cool. ;D
All the comments about JT lately. They're all tru, he's been sloppy, he's been boring, slow, dull, stale, lazy, its all tru.
But its hard for me to handle all the bad press. Iv slated him as much as anybody else, but iv defended him too. The reason is, Taylor above all other active fighters is a guy whom i compare to myself, I fight exactly like he did before B-hop, its strange. Therefore iv always kinda rooted for him. So i truely do hope he pulss it off
half a** make no sense
he was shawdow boxing in the mirror with the blue trunks then he said dont put your head down when you come foward sometimes i also do it
how you gonna tell somebody to not do something but you do it
i think it gonna be closer what people think
I sat through COUNTDOWN twice last night & I can honestly say that I want Pavlik to win.
He seems to be grounded & good people.
Also...I like the fact that both he & his trainer are humble.
Yes, they're very humble. Kelly Pavlik is a superstar already but he's still living a simple life. He's not planning to move anywhere fancy too.Quote:

Jack Loew for governor.
Cant remember who made the point, in another thread, but it would be an intelligent idea for Pavlik to train as a southpaw in light of Taylors difficulty with the lefties.
Taylor's jab will control this fight. Taylor by knock out around the 8th or 9th round
I got same result as u there VD, im sayin TKO 10
