Heroes thread(contains theories and possible spoilers)

We need a place to discuss this show,I hope you don't mind Wack. Season 2 just started and it's insane.

Hmmmm.....In season 1,Molly,when she was scanning for Syler,came across someone and said he was much scarier and was looking back at her. This,imo,is going to be the main bad guy for this season.

This season thus far,we had Hiro's dad talking about what bad things they had done(I'm guessing he was referring to the other,older genration of Heroes who features him,the mum and dad of the Petrelli's,the black dude who died,Linderman) and the way Hiro's dad spoke was as if the "older generation" had done something bad to humanity and were recieving justice when he recieved a photo of himself with the Godsend smybol on it. The Petrelli's mother also recieved the same symbol,which usualy means they are going to die in 24 hours according to Hiro's father.

Now my question is,who killed Hiro's father? Who was that hooded figure? I have no idea why,but I thought it was Sylar??

As for Peter Petrelli at the end of the episode. What the heck was he doing in a container in Ireland?! And he had the godsend necklace on? And he seemed to be surprised at the fireball he let out pf his hands,which looked fricking awesome!?!?!!?

My theory: Peter is the big bad evil Molly(the tracking system) sees and is scared of. I don't know how or why but he becomes the bad guy. It would be pretty coool!

I'm not too fond of the of the guy who was stalking Clair and using his flying powers to stare at her! Talk about a new age peeping Tom!!!! Anyway,his character comes across corney and his power is the same as Nathan Petrelli's

Finally,that dam fine Latina girl and her brother. Now I don't know whether it was a transalting error but when they first appeared and she responed something along the lines of,we have been running for 800 miles?!?!?!?!!?!? WTF?! And then, she massacred those people in the van in which they were travelling,killing the innocent people too!! I think she turns into a monster so ugly,it scares whoever sees it,killing them. I say this because all the dead had tears of blood rolling down their cheeks.

That's all I have time to type but it looks like it is going to be a super cool season. I want to know who this group is that is killing th eolder generation of Heroes and why. And I want to know what happened to Nikki,the Black dude and their kid. Have they been kicked off the show?!

Oh and Surinder and Bennet are STILL trying to take on the company!!

I got sick of this like halfway through last season

I just saw Knocked Up, that was actually pretty good, best Chewbaca impression ever. And I'm really into sushi lately.

So the second episode was slightly disspointing in my humble opinion. I just didn't think much happened. I don't really like the angle they are taking with Claire's whole wanting to help others with her powers thing nor the whole rebelling v parents. It doesn't suit her,she should just stay as Claire Bear!!

I cannot believe Peter lost his memory and now the info contained in the box is all he has left. I wonder who put that necklace on him too!!!? Also,it appears his powers have grown 10 fold now! The fireballs,the whole going through the ropes(like the blac dude from season,I've forgotten his name!) I don't like how they are keeping him away rom the main storyline though,I mean unless there is something else that is going to happen in Ireland,I would much rather Peter took the box and went back to the others.

I liked the Haitian re-teaming up with Bennet. That was nice and he is quite possibly the most powerful guy,the Haitian. Imagine having that power to ake people forget things! ^-^ :lickish: :laugh:

I REALLY didnt like the part with Peter/s mother being trapped in the interrogation room. I mean,this group that is killing the older generation of Heroes(I presume) are supposed to be powerful yet it went into the room,gave her a few scratches on her face and disappeared?! And what was her power? I mean the Hiros dad was willing to fight with his sword. What did Mrs Petrelli do>!>!

hmm,Oh I love the little line saying that the "godsend" symbol was the symbol for Peter and Nathan's fathers law firm!!! I would love to learn more about him,and the older generation. When were they powerfu? What did they do that they are being punished for(according to Hiro's dad) and who is punishing them>!?

I thin the most intriguing part of the story is Hiro's part. Why would he go alllllll the way back into time. What is going to happen? Is he going to find out more about his father/the older generation? IS he going to change the future?

Ph and what the heck happened to Nicki,the kid and CJ(or whatever his name was?) Are they just going to cut them out like that>>? I'll post more if I think of anything else otherwise,see you next week!! O0 8) :D ;) :)

WOW!! Where to start?! Excellent episode! Ok,I don't know if I posted this but as soon as I saw Peter in episode 1,I thought he was going to be the main bad guy. When he let that fireball go,I thought,he's lost control of his powers and will be the big bad evil that little girl sees in her dreams. Well yesterday,I thought he was going to kill someone!! Hd that woman not been there,I mean did you see the look on his face?! Dam! I thought it was a bit premature,them kissing and I CANNOT believe he didn't open te box and find out his identity>!! That was dissappointing. He's too far away from the main storyline or even if he is the main storyline,why in Ireland,is there anything else of significance there?!

HmmOh Bennet"! The paintings?! The last is like of him dead with his glasses smashed(shot in the eyes?!) and Clair either hugging someone or being taken away. BTW,she looked really cute yesterday!! That weirdo dude told her his secret(that he can fly) but to be honest,I STILL don't like him. His power is a been there done that type of thing although he has memores(bad ones) of a man with big round glasse sor something(Claire's dad!! Is he going to kill him?!) AGain,the kissing,premature.....hey've known each other 5 mins and alreayd he's sucking her face off?! I'm not buying it.

DAM!!! SYLAR IS STILL ALIVE?! 8 SURGERIE LATER?! And he killed that girl who cna change things,she didn't have much of a role?! Although he appears to be isolated in some jungle(looked like LOST!) I ahev ZERO ideas as to why he has been brought back,I presume it's the company but he does not appear to have his powers.....IO'm not understanding that angle to be honest...

Hiro deciding to stay. Again,the fact that after 1 mission,Takezo Kensei has become the perfect warrior,premature again. Althought it seems Hiro is going to stay to help him. Will time change because of this? Who is Takezo Kensei in the grand cheme of things,I mean he can heal like Claire?! I don't know but there must be some purpose to making Takezo Kensei a warrior....It must be more than jsut for Hiro's own benefit(ie that he has someone to aspire to in the future) if it's just that,it'll be dissapointing.

Mohinder is SOOOO going to get busted by the company. I just want to know what they are going to do with him. Nikki is alive!! BTW,she looks really hot sometimes(or is that just me? I meanwhen she's really done up_) The black dude dies(CJ,crap I ALWAYS FORGET HIS DAM NAME!) and Nikki is goin to "do something" for the company and they in turn,are going to make her "normal". I don't really see why,she appeared to be in control of her powers at the end of season 1....Oh and is it me or does the old black lady who is looking after the kid really look evil?! Possibly one of the older generation of heroes? Related to Simone's dad? Who knows but there is definitely something there,amrk my words... I think they are either going to ask Nikki to help them with SYLAR or Mohinder...1 of the 2 for sure...

The brother and sister are with the American dude,it appears the brother is the opposite to her,re rights her wrongs,the good to her bad but is he consuming her evil when he does this?Who knows,I just want to see them get to America to see what they are going to do. I mean is she going to cry,when they hear the doc is dead and will she kill Mohinder with teh crying?! ;D

hmm.I wonder what has happened to Nathan? And I want to know more about the older genration of Heroes....I think the only thing I don't like is that some things seem to be rushed by the producers. All these couples kissing and they don't even know each other,Kensei being a hero all of a sudden,the black dude dying and we didn't even get to see it...

And then other areas seem to be going too slow,Peter's part for example(maybe to show his control of his powers developing?), Hiro's part(or maybe he falls in love with the pretty Jap girl and changes time?) Hey,I could be totally wonrg and I hope I am but at the moment,things seems somewhat fragmented,soooooooooo many seperate issues rather than just eh few they had in season 1. Could this lead to characters being neglected(Nathan,and the big black dude etc?) We'll see..

Seriously are there no other Hero's fans, its getting a bit sad to see El Gamo continue to talk to himself.

watched ep 3 of season 2 now - shit hot, pissed off that nerdy fucking kid is getting into claire tho... no way would he get a girl like her;)

I like the show but is kinda easy to work out what the happy-hap is with it tho... i mean you got btoh peter and sylar banged up because they are to freaking hard to be a big part of it until the end - can't wait to see them square off, peter is gunna whip his bitch ass haha... i liked him in the futre wher ehe looked a right bad ass guy - but if i remeber right he had a scare, when eh could heal? couldn't work that out, now...

We seen what linderman could do with his powers, any guesses on what peter's and nathens mum can do? my guess is somethign to do with illusions... When you see Nath in the bar and he looks in the mirrior you see his face all burnt (my guess would be when he flew peter up at the end of season one) but its normal to look at? his mum aint showed her power yet and she mus thave one, so i recon its got something to do with that!

As far as who's killing the old heroes generation...they eluded to it being him...but I don't think so. Slug is the one that see's Molly whenever she see's him.

I honestly believe that either Peter or a version of Hiro or someone they brought through the rift is killing of the old generation. I know that sounds crazy but I purchased something from someone off of ebay that was a set staffer & they were telling me about the Hiro rift deal.

Heroes draws so many parrallels with LOST for me.

It’s hard for me to pick characters that I can say are my favorites. Every episode that develops a character’s personality makes it more & more tuff with each Monday night.

My favorite of all time is either Peter Petrelli or Gabrielle Sylar.

I’m curious to see how Sylar thinks that he’s going to engulf the abilities of Maya Herrera & her twin brother Alejandro…the ones that inflict the plague of death on everyone that they come in contact with. That will be a mess if he actually pulls that off.

Also…Micah’s new realatives are the shat so far.

I’m curious to see what’s up with Christian Belle joining the show as one of the Petrelli’s also.


HRG (aka: Horn Rimmed Glasses, aka: Claires daddy, aka: Noah) is still the most compelling one of the bunch & the fact that he’s in the middle of everything & that he’s trying to take down the “Primatech Paper Corporation” is what makes me like him the most. The last painting of Issac that shows HRG shot in the noggin really REALLY puts a spin on the entire show. Can’t wait!!!!

The Haitian’s cool as shit too.

Sylar still makes the show…but I want to see him & Peter tussle again.

Everytime that Hiro travels back & forth thru the future & past he runs a risk of starting a rift in the time & space continuem. Things come back with him or get scrambled in the future...just like in the episode where he was in two times @ the same time.

Future Hiro & past Hiro were in the same spot @ the same times.

I don't mean that Hiro himself is doing the killing but that when he does the shifts thru time he changes things...things that were'nt supposed to be changed & people that were dead are no longer dead...you see what I mean?

Alright...here's my theory vs the one that I have been told about...my theory: Hiro went back & forth & brought back someone from the dead that was not supposed to have been brought back.

I think that it was the Petrelli's father that came back...I think that it's the Petrelli's dad that is doing the killings.

I may be wrong...I may be right...I just don't know...but when I mentioned this to the person that I know that is in the know...he said that I was close...I also mentioned that I thought that it was Peter Petrelli that was doing the killing...that the fact that he had no memory was a factor...I was told that I was close there also...so honestly...I don't know if I am being told that someone in the Petrelli family is involved or that he just can't really say...either way...I think that it ends up being someone that is involved with the Petrelli's...but the Petrelli's seem to be involved in the ENTIRE scope of the show...PERIOD.

Anywho...initially I was of the opinion that it was FUTURE HIRO or some form of HIRO that was involved in the murders of the elder clan of Heroes...I don't know how close I am to that...it's just all confusing...but apparently the character...SLUG...as Molly earlier referred to...is now Matt Parkman's dad from the Elder clan.

Totally confused now.

Yes…he was talking about the Elders.

The “Godsend” symbol is the mark of the Heroes & the Sword Saint that Hiro so idolizes. Kensei appears to be the origin of the abilities…hence Hiro’s travel back through time to feudal Japan to learn all that he can & make his hero Kensei be all that he can be.

I keep going back & forth on it. I have a shitload of theories…but have no clue which one is correct. First I thought that it was Peter via a rift & the amnesia thing, then I thought that it was SLUG, then I thought that it was Nikki hired by the company, & lastly I thought that it was Veronica Mars’s character…as she has a tie in to the Petrellis.

Now I have no clue.

I say that the peeps that have him in Ireland are Heroes themselves…or anti heroes…or some shit. They have the helix symbol…the Godsend mark for a tatoo.

It soaked into Peter’s skin during the second episode once he took the brand.

Peter is one of my favorites…I would be sick if he became the villian…but in the future he TECHNICALLY was the bad guy…he blew up NYC & Sylar covered it up by taking on Nathan’s form & blah blah blah.

D.L. Sanders is dead, Mikah is in New Oreleans with his blood relatives who seem to have abilities too, & Nikki is about to be a hit woman for the Company.

I say that she’s the one that is supposed to take down HRG/Noah/Claire’s daddy.

The show is the shit. I started the 1st season with the 2nd episode when it first came out because I was out eating raw fish & chugging sake. I downloaded the first episode of the show & have watched it religiously ever sense then. I was in line the day that the DVD set was released & have watched that shit FANATICALLY on a day to day basis...I love it & live it.

The reason he got her so easily was due to the fact that Claire was a loner & he latched on to her because of her situation...they share that same affliction...alienation & abilities.

That's a common lure for birds that need attention. Been there done that...& yes I can fly. ;D

As far as Peter & his future scar...he's a sponge that soaks up his abilities...so he has to sort them out. Sylar eats a part of the brain & absorbs their abilities into his noggin immediately. Peter soaks abilities in the all natural way & has to sort them out...he has yet to be able to use more than one ability at a time because of the absortion factor.

Sylar takes them in immediately...almost interveniously & it is an automatic transition into his system.

Peter has to learn to control abilities at one time while Sylar can manifest them organically. Peter's deal is more telepathic as he has to arrange & choose what he can use & when...hence he was controlling the "exploding man" abilities & the "indestructablity ability" at the same time & he has yet to learn that feat at the time that Nathan took him into orbit for the explosion.

Angela Petrelli is a hard one. I kept thinking that she was an empath...someone who can use their emotions to rule other people's emotions...like the power of persuassion thing that the company girl used on Sylar when he was @ Primatech's holding cell during the "Homecoming" episode. When she convinced Nathan that it would be alright to let Peter die in the blast...that's what made me think that...I could be wrong...but he was really too comfy with letting the .07% die & Peter too.

Not sure about Nathan's scar/beard deal...have'nt thought that one out enough.

The pictures that they keep uncovering are Issac's first works prior to him knowing that he was painting the future. These were supposed to have been done before he/Simmone met Peter.

He was getting high as fwock on heroin & painting gibberish...or so he thought.

There was nothing going on in the paintings but death & he couldn't sort it out...then, after the 8, he began painting his HEROES works.

With the first one he labled it the 9th wonder. He then started the comic book called the 9th Wonders & those were the journey's of Hiro Nakamora...which became the comic book "The 9th Wonders" & then he began painting his master works...what he labled as the FUTURE.

Then came all the stuff featuring Sylar, the bomb, Peter, & then Claire.

The past & the future became all jumbled & now the old paintings...the Elders are actually what is happening in the future.

Cool stuff if you sit down & think about it...& unfortunately...I have. ;D

We seen what linderman could do with his powers, any guesses on what peter's and nathens mum can do? my guess is somethign to do with illusions... When you see Nath in the bar and he looks in the mirrior you see his face all burnt (my guess would be when he flew peter up at the end of season one) but its normal to look at? his mum aint showed her power yet and she mus thave one, so i recon its got something to do with that!

I would asume only his mum (MAYBE hiro's dad) would of been the only ones with powers to have seen nathen after peter blew up, my money is on his mother has power to heal wounds, or put some sort of elusion on them so no one else can see them.

I'm just wondering why he didn't eat their brains there and then first and second,I still do not understand the purpose of him being alive!!? Why?? Nice to see Nathan back,although that image of Peter in the mirror is darn freaky! If that is truly what happened,then what the heck was Peter doing in a cargo in Ireland,tied up?!? Did something happen that Nathan has forgotten?

It was awesome to see the picture of the 12 older Heroes? Or where they? Remember,Kaito Nakamura said,jsut before he was killed,that they were being punished for what they had done! And how comes we could not see Peter's dad's face,he was turning away from the camera! The man Mohinder is working for was one of the 12!! Where they all a part of the company at 1 point and wanted to catch the other heroes,subject them to experiements?

I really hope Parkmans' father is not the main bad guy for 2 reasons. The first being,it's Parkamsn parents for crying out loud,the guy could not even pass his detective test and the second,I would rather it someone else,someone new,not related to these guys.

I have to say,I'm really dissappointed that there is YET ANOTHER new character. I'm not happy about this at all and she appears to be able to learn new things quickly,just by seeing them(the wrestling move,the cutting food in designs form the tv programme) I'm not too keen on her and I just don't think there is any need for MORE characters when some of the ones in the show already are not being given enough air time(Peter/Nathan etc)

I want to see Peter open that dam box and get back into the mix of the things. He is just an outside in the story right now and I really don't care about any potential love angle with the Irish girl!They don't even know each other FFS! >:mad

Slug aint a bad guy - he is more missunderstood IMO...

His power is what his boys is, he started off mindreading to but to gets bigger, it might of been a hint that all of their powers get stronger and can do more..

You didn't notice that parkamn before could only read minds, but he screamed IN nathan's head for him to stop during the fight... the power is getting IN peoples head, read minds, speak in their head, see their thoughts and its looks like also manipulate them...

This chick will prolly die, but not so much unleash peters dark side, just man him up a bit, like the future peter we seen in season 1... he will always be a good guy, just one with balls, hes the onyl one who can really stop sylar or the others...

An AWESOME AWESOME episode,think I'll watch it again later.BTW,I'd like to add that whilst last season was 1 big ARC(the styory carried on for the WHOLE season) this season,there are smaller arcs and this one finshes or is supposed to finish at the end of the year(which could be dissappointing!) I don't want it to end!

This is all hypothetical thinking on my part...but it's a possible future that we all watched...hypothetically two things could have happened...both of which pretty much could have played out in Peter's intro of Season II. Peter's got amnesia...so we just can't know...but again...hypo-thinkin here... #1: Peter had met Kensei/Munroe who is a healer & apparently is ageless...as he is in the same state that he was when he & Hiro met, fought, & blew up back in fuedal Japan. #2: The logical answer...or more logical to me...Peter had suffered that cut prior to the explosion...prior to meeting Claire...in other words he had gotten into a scuffle prior to mimicking Claire's ability.

Her power is to regenerate...not heal...like Linderman...like Kensei/Munroe.

Or there is always answer #3: The writer's slipped...just this once. ;D

I want to know who�s going to spread contagion & how the fwock Sylar factors into it all. For some reason�I can�t see how the twin�s virus could go ape shit enough to cause the massive damage that we keep seeing in the future�unless the girl with the virus get�s infected with the virus that keeps mutating & mutates into an �end game� type of scenario.

The other possibility is that Sylar takes the power & kills them both & can�t control it. The reason I say that is due to the fact that it takes two to control the ability�how is one going to maintain it if there is not another to shut it off.

I tape those fuckers every night & the minute it ends�I watch it again�just like with LOST & I try to pick it apart�the beauty of that is�you just can�t. You can try�but you can�t hit anything right. The Haitian attempted to help Peter which was cool.1 thing that I'm TOTALLY confused about is if Linderman was Adam's disciple then why didn't they kill the older generation then?I think there is something amiss here,call it a gut instinct,but I just feel there is a LARGE chunk of the story missing somewhere,to be revealed at a later date!

I would also like to add that Tim Kring,the producer,admitted they amde ALOT of errors this season which has resulted in a 15% drop in viewers. Some of them are some of the things I have mentioned earlier in this thread such as the totally AWFUL "love" stories between Cliare and that dude and also there are too many new characters. He also mentioned that viewers felt Sylra,the brother and sister were far far too deteched form the main story and I agree totally.

I hope we see more action,more anwers and a more coherent story from now. The last few episodes have been back to form,but overall,the season has been herky jerky.

Also,yesterdays epsidoe of Prison Break was MIND BLOWING! You want tension,thrills,plot twists,drama and action?Watch thaty!!!

It was easy to guess that one. I think it was a mixed episode. The part with the exchange between Noah and Bob was awesome and I can't believe that little,greasy rat Mohinder,what an ass wipe,Mr.Bennett should have finished him off then and there. However,I have reservations. In 1 scene,we see Hiro finding out Adam killed his father(which as you can see from the above post,I guessed beforehand and therefore it wasn't a great shock) and then in the next scene,Matt,with his growing power,get's asnwers from Miss Petrelli(who is fucking annoying) about the same questions ie who killed Hiro's dad etc? They could have moved the stoyry on,he could have asked what the older generation did etc etc.

I've been dissappointed this season by these things:

Storyline way way way too slow,I mean it barely moves at some points

Far far too many characters leading to main characters hardly getting any time on air. I mean Peter,Syral(WTF is going with him!) have haraly been on. Ditto with Nathan!

Too many new charcters wth similar powers as old characters(unless there is a reason for this,it needs to change)

Horribly unbelievable,rushed love stories with Peter and Claire.Terribly done. The prudcer actually admitted this in an interview himself/.

I'm not saying it's been bad,there have been 1 or 2 mnd blwing episodes,but compared to last season,it is nowhere near as good!let's get going peeps!!! Just started watching Battlestar Galactica, first season on DVD, don't usually think of myself as a Sci-Fi fan but its pretty good. I like it, not sure if I love it but its good. They could leave out the whole "frak" part. The Captain's a bit overdramatic, but its a good show.

BTW, couldn't you figure out the whole Sylon thing by fucking one of the Sylon women doggystyle ;D I mean there's a big fucking red streak going through their back when their having sex, maybe its just me.

Whilst the ending was amazing,I think there's a reason why viewing figures have dropped by 15% my man. It's NOWHERE NEAR as good as least season,not even close. Crappy love storylines,way too man characters,anti climatic deaths and bad ass characters(Sylar,Peter) not getting enough air time.

The next ep should be awesome but the season has been herky jerky and this is coming from someone who watched 5-6episodes in 1 day last season.
