I might of made this before but i like to hear what people have to say about it again i would pick Michael Spinks By late Ko or UD over Jones i think With Spinks weird style and power would give Roy hell and would either win by points or knock Roy out

I highly doubt Roy would take Michael to the cleaners if any out come of this fight
And i would love you to explain how Roy would do it because Michael had advantages over Roy
And you might ask what advantages he had well he had The reach, height and power over Roy and his weird style would through Roy off and yea Roy was faster but Spinks had alot of speed as well and as far as chin goes i go with Spinks because the only time he got destroyed was against Mike but i do not hold that against him because Mike is a monster and Spinks is a LH and should of stayed there
And as far as Roy goes his best wins were in lower weights and LH was pretty weak division when he was in it Spinks was not the best either but i think his was a bit better then Roys but i could be wrong but Micheal was never defeated at Lh
And i like a better answer then Roy would take him to the cleansers
And no i am not a hater on Roy he was amazing but i think he's best wast at 168
Although he reign over the LH for a while it was like Bernard it was a weak division
But to his credit he did dominate the division so i can not complain

Jones stops Spinks late. To much speed. Power is about the same. Jones takes it without much trouble
Mr140 no matter what i say u will never belive the jones can take take spinks u are a spinks lover and that will never change. jones speedand aligility hands down wins the fight. in his prime jones was a much smarter fighter and could time his opponents movers better thand spinks,

Just because Roy took guys like Pazienza and Ricky Frazier or whatever his name was to the cleaners, Michael Spinks is a different story and I doubt he would take him to the cleaners. Roy never fought the great fighters and he avoided greats fights until he had advantages. Sort of like Ray Leonard. No way Prime Roy Jones would crush Spinks did you see what Jones done to Montel Griffin who was an awkward fighter like Spinks ?? ok Griffin isn't as good as Spinks but Griffin was still good fighter.

Roy was good but he never wanted to have a chin test by someone like Spinks or Hearns. Guys in the 80s who always tested the other guys chin. Roy took on guys who he knew he could take a punch if he had to. Roy was good but all time great. Hard to say. He doesn't have any great fights. The same as Mosley.

He was still great fighter after Hearns fight he went on 13 winning streak before losing UD to Dariusz Michalczewski then he fought Roy Jones Jr right after and Jones stopped him in 4 rounds and is the only one to ever KO Virgil Hill thats great achievement.

You don't have to have great fight to be All Time Great he dominated Hall Of Famers and won the World Heavyweight Championship when he started as Middleweight which hadn't be done since early 1900s and your telling me thats not ATG material ??
He beat Ruiz he was a the WBA champion Ice that is just a letter belt he beat Ruiz who is far from being great.
Now if he beat the man at the time then he would of been a different story Ruiz was not that man.
Your missing the point it doesn't matter if Ruiz wasn't great it was still great achievement that hadn't been done since early 1900s top that off with being P4P number 1 for nearly 10 years and beating 4 Hall Of Famers easily plus winning World titles in 4 different weight division that makes him ATG no question.Quote:

Qawi was good but limited due to his size and Spinks was down in that fight and even in that fight it was quite close.

My point was Legend was question Roy's legacy so i pointed out the facts Jones still had the same skills he had at lower weights i mean he KO Kelly with his hands behind his back let me put it this way Spinks was good champion Jones was something else.
Not saying Spinks has a better Legacy but at LH and HW i can not see how Roy would win i just see Spinks. But i will cc you bring up good points and i not sure what you think of my points but at i just going to have to agree to disagree nice debating with you ice.
