Pac moving up in weight after this fight is the big buzz right now in Pacland. There are rumors that his gonna take on Michael Katsidis or Juan Diaz next year.

Hopefully he would fight JMM first.

At 130 Pac tends to be as strong if not stronger than his opponents. Would be interesting to see how he'd go against a bigger guy who couldmuscle him about. Pac at 135 could be fun.

i'd also like to see him fight JMM first.

Pac at 135 is a real jump from his original weight of 113. If he can still carry his power at lightweight, then he is sure to be the no.1 pound for pound.

IF Pac could keep his speed and strength at 140 he could be fighting for two titles in different weight classes in next few years. Then again if he is starving himself for the weigh in, knowing he has a day to rebuild himself, then he may have problems staying at lightweight when he moves up. There is constant chatter among boxing commissions that the day before weigh in may be discarded due to guys coming in at 130 for the weigh in and weighing 150 for the fight. It may eventually go back to weigh ins the morning of the fight. Just my thoughts.

I'm not a pacfan buy any stretch, but how the hell do you figure that ??? he hasnt had a bonafied KO in over 2 years And against Pac? your dreamin buddy.. I'm pulling for Barrera but its only if he can out heart Pac and grind a SD out ;)

FYI, Pac was 144 the night he fought EM3. And I tell you what, his power and stamina wasn't really tested that night coz he fought a well drained (looked like aids patient) Erik Morales and the fight only lasted 3 rounds.

But one thang fo sure, Pac DID carry his speed @ 144.

Pacs camp has had alot of distractions
Barrera had to move his last time
Has Barrera started to get ring old,etc,etc

i'm a bit worried cos manny struggled a little bit making weight. less than a day from weigh-in he's still a pound over and he's already a bit drained and cranky. he normally comes in under the 130lbs but this time came in exactly just making the weight limit.

Manny looks very drawn and dehydrated there, whereas Barrera looks natural at 130. Not sure if that's always how Manny looks, or if this is a new thing.

so yeah, barrera might last longer than i expected. ;D

yea theres definitely something different about pac, he doesn't look normal as usual. it could be more fires in his eyes or it could be a drained pac. I guess we will see come fight night, but again there is definitely something different about pacman.

if pac is drain, mab has got to go to the body cause this could be the third time pac comes in drained and possibly get k.oed by a body punch.

I dont want to look too much into the pictures, but Pac looks kind of tired. Is there a time change issue for him or has he been back in the US for a while now?... Barrera looks like hes ready to get the upset and this is his last big fight so hell be looking to leave the game on a high note.

he'll be back to looking like this (taken at the peak of his training) once he's rehydrated.

don't you think he's beginning to look a bit like iron mike? :o
