Coming from Floyd an 'I'm willing to die' statement is almost as ludicrous as Zab Judah proclaiming 'You ain't ever seen Zab Judah dominated!'. ::**

I'm really impressed by Hatton's reactions,I have not seen the Hitman give in once! Anyone else would have punched him in the mouth by now.
Once Hatton starts hitting him to the body Mayweather is going to wish he was dead.
Being a Floyd fan I think that I have every right to say this...WHO GIVES A FUCK?!?!?
That being said...everyone that hates Floyd get's so pissed off about the shit he says...& so do I for that matter...but...the thing is...as long as he keeps on winning he's got just as much right to talk all the shit that he wants.
If James "Fat Ass" Toney can talk all that shit...Floyd should be able to.
The thing there is that Floyd's still winning & he don't need the 'roids to do so. ;D

Just too many top fighters moving up through the weights that are being linked, Mosely, Jones jr, Vargas, Toney and Holyfeild
From super feather to light middle ?
just dont be too surprised when it happens
That's a bit muchQuote:

Hmm, 20lbs over 130, works out that he has added 15% of his own body weight in lean tissue
15% is alot of weight to add to your body
If an athlete weighed 200lbs and over a few years gained to 230lbs but still lean, im sure youd look at it suspiciously
The important thing,is he willing to kill?
I thought it was funny how his dance partner walked away from him at one point. hahaQuote:

It's all a MASSIVE act... thats why he's so inconsistent... it's not real. It changes all the time because he puts it on.
No one could possibly talk that much shite surely...
Floyd's moved up over the years just like Hopkins has & trains his ass off like a gym rat. James "Fat Ass" Toney has been moving up & down on the scale & has used the roids more to control weight & gain mass at the same time.Quote:

I agree with ono that the above theory deserves a :dunce:
Floyd continues to talk cause everytime he does we all talk about it. Exactly what he wants. There's no such think as bad press, especially in his situation.
Actually Floyd carries Welterweight fine. Jr. Middle and Middle he will run into guys much larger. I can understand why he moved back down to welter after his fight with Oscar.
If he fights too big of a guy, he is flirting with disaster. All the slickness in the world may not help him against some of them. He is a smart guy and knows his limitations. I do give him a lot of credit for that.
I do however, want to see him go in there and fight a larger guy, who still has good young legs and is dangerous. Hatton is fine and he is dangerous, but I think he plays into Floyd's wishes as he is small.
I would like to see him take a real risk. Doing such, will help define him from a great fighter of his time, to an all time great.
Guys Like Duran, Arguello, Hearns need more company.
There's plenty of big names at Welterweight bigger names than at Lightmiddleweight and as for Mayweather at Middleweight that would be a mismatch that wouldn't be fair.Quote:

Well at least Floyd can't blame the distraction of dancing as the reason he lost - he got Ko'd early from there and Hatton will Ko him aswell. Big mouth and overrated.
Overrated ?? how can you call the P4P number 1 fighter overrated ?? he has the best record of his era don't talk nonsense.Quote:

Other than that, people just don't care. He's already voted out.... before that Mark Cuban guy who has no likeability whatsoever. That dance audience didn't care about him, so that just tells me that nobody outside of the boxing area cares about poor Floyd. He has no flare to him. He's artificial in personality.
Yeah common, how can you call someone who has wins over Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, Mitchell, Brussels, Corley overrated, that there is a list of unbeaten superstars
Oh hold on ;D
Although I am well aware that history has proven otherwise, I have a funny feeling that he might mean it this time.
PBF might have put a lot of weight on that performance against Collazo where Hatton looked on shaky legs at the end.
Hatton is also not what I would call a one punch KO threat. He has some pop, there is no doubt about that, but he is more of a smotherer and acumulation damage type of fighter.
It it is also possible that all the talk is finally getting to him and he feels he needs to perform for his fans. That could be the very reason why he chose to fight Hatton in the first place as he is the smaller fighter who poses the least threat to KO him.
All that said, I think it would be a mistake if PBF went after Hatton. I would not be suprissed if we see some fireworks early, PBF get wobbled and then box and cruise himself to a wide, yet shaky, UD.
I don't think people give him enough credit for how tough he is. There are many fights where he goes balls out like against Corley, Ndou, Chavez, Burton.
Also Hatton has been hurt badly against Collazo who isn't a hard puncher at all, and he was feeling those body shots from Urango, and Floyd does great body work with his jab, cross, and hooks.
Why is everyone laughing at that? The people that laugh at that must have only seen a couple of Floyd's fights. The guy is TOUGH and he has heart, he's stood in the trenches and gone to war more than once. He can take a punch. Just because he has the skills to avoid taking a shot doesn't mean he can't take a shot.
I just hope it doesn't turn into a Track And Field event. Mayweather does not care about the fans once the tickets have sold and he just wants the W.
He is promising fireworks just for the sales. In fact, the more I think about this fight, the more I feel like it is going to be a huge stinker. The only person who is going to be suffering more than the fans is Hatton for having to eat punches while chasing Floyd around for 36 minutes.
Well then Hatton better learn how to close the ring down so Floyd can't go anywhere. But my feeling is Mayweather is going to unleash a storm on Hatton like we haven't seen in a while. Floyd seems to have alot of disdain for Ricky, and it's not just because they have a fight to sell. He's been trash talking Ricky regularly and visciously since Rick beat Kostya; worse than he's ever talked about an opponent. As much of a bum Floyd says Hatton is I would think he's going to beat the brakes off Ricky just cause' he thinks he's a fake. As much as I want Ricky to win, won't happen. Floyd will beat him severely and this fight will be over by 8 rounds, maybe 10 if Floyd wants to torture him. Hatton better get some steel plates put in his head cause' he'll need them. All this coming from a huge Hatton fan, but I see this being so one sided as to almost be criminal. JMO, not trying to hate on Ricky. Hope I'm wrongQuote:

Then i think your find a good list of opposition and has also fought one of the best opposition of his era and also add that he has won 5 World Titles in 5 different Weight Divisions.
Ok good list now count how many losses they had between them and how many were undefeated ?
That is a jokew of an answer, a good bunch of fighters, in their time but not when Floyd fought em eh ;D
Name me a fighter right now who has better record than Floyds ??Quote:

Don't worry, Mosley, Cotto, Cintron etc. will have their shots at beating Floyd too, with them getting beat also, Shane being the only guy who really has a chance, maybe Cotto.Quote:

And as for Wright his resume is not as good as Mayweather's thats why he is not P4P number 1.
But you see what i mean ?? you slate Mayweather's record but you have to bring up legend like Tito who is not really in this era at the moment to find someone with better record than Mayweather and i don't think there is that much difference between Tito and Mayweather infact if Mayweather beats Hatton he would be rated higher than Tito imo i think your being bit too hard on Mayweather he has fought quality opposition.
Ownedbypacstraightleft - when are you going to start thinking for yourself? All you seem to do is regurgitate statistics in order to support your arguments. Boxing should be a passion for fighters and fans alike, yet your posts are often sadly lacking in this quality. Your attempts to show that you are always right and to belittle other posters smack of arrogance. And before you accuse me of being a blinkered Hatton fan, let me say that the blinkers are well and truly off with this Hatton supporter. I'll be amazed if Hatton wins, but I also think you should get out more. This is my first post - can you give me a cc?
Using stats to prove your point is wrong ??!!!!Quote:
