What if a fighter had to fight themselves?
Now we've pretty much run every theoretical matchup between fighters from different weight classes and even from different era but I've never yet seen a post about what would happen if a fighter had to fight an identical clone of themselves.
So tell me what happens in the following matchups, I can pretty much guess whose going to win, I mean how would the fights go.
Mayweather vs Mayweather.
Would he run from himself? With his lightening in and out single power punch then retreat style would he be able to land on himself?
Would he suprise us all by going toe to toe?
If he lost would he blame the judges or admit he lost to the better man?
Acelino Fretais vs Acelino Fretais
Would he quit against himself?
Evander Holyfield
How would he look fighting himself?
Would he show improvement and adjustment?
As he couldn't really lose would he be able to pursuade his losing self to hang them up whilst his winning self continued the quest for a title hunt or would he double his efforts and send out both Holyfields?
Would he keep fighting himself and winning with the same Holyfield just to keep him going up the rankings?
Ok these are just some of my ideas, anyone else want to join me in my peculiar mental illness? :)

Mayweather/Mayweather: No fight. would be too busy talking trash to each other..... I'd pick Mayweather to win ::** Seriously it would be one of the most technical, lowest punchrate fights ever. How would Floyd counter if Floyd never threw a punch?
Freitas: They would quit before it started- DQ'd
Holyfield/Holyfield: Would be a war for 12 rounds, neither going down. Right sides of their faces swollen to pumpkin size due to left hooks out the wazoo. FanMan and his twin fly in at the last second and crash over the fighters, making it a draw.
Possibly the dumbest things I ever wrote :-[ :'( :-[

Could he embarrass himself further by KHTFO?
Could he force himself to do another chicken dance or would he get disqualified for low blows?

Miranda would disqualify himself.
Zab would complain and somehow lose, then complain he won and say the other Zab sucked.
Pavlik would hurt himself and finish himself off properly.
Golata would both refuse to come out for the second round.
Lennox Lewis, would get knocked out, but would win the rematch in spectacular fashion.

Well, Pride of Boston probably had a nervous breakdown engaging you in your Twilight Zone moments, so now he's playing tennis with his head in a padded cell somewhere ;D Actually, this is a fun thread; I hope more people contribute to their own insanity by playing.

I think that would end in NO Conest due to boredom because they wouldn't be able to hit eachother because there fat tummys would be in the way they would keep bumping into eachother ;D

Cory Spinks vs Cory Spinks, would have the lowest punch output of any fight ever. Both fighters would spend the first 2:45 of each round posturing, flexing, and feinting at one another before throwing a single jab and the scurrying away from eachother. This fight would make Mayweather-Mayweather look like Castillo - Corrales 1.
