Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
I once watched a video of a Russian solder getting behedded with a combat knife. it was the most discusting thing I have ever seen in my life and to be honest it shocked me a little bit.
I still think about it sometimes and feel quite bad when i do.
If you haven't watched one of these videos then DONT, It will affect you phycologicaly forever.

Yeah I know exactly which video you're talking about. It was a Russian soldier who got captured by a group of Chechnyan rebels, and they butchered him. Usually you watch something and the more you watch it the easier it is to watch again. I watched it about 10 times and each time was more gut wrenching than the last. It got to the point that I became physically ill and couldn't watch anymore. There were several videos by that same group of different killings, all just as bad.

Yeah I know what you mean.
I click on it out of morbid curiousity as alot of people i know say they have watched beheading videos. I didn't realize it would start so quickly and I kind of wasnt ready for what happened next.. as they started doing it I quickly closed my laptop screen down to stop the horrific sound they victim was making but the sound was still coming out of the speakers. I opened the laptop up quickly and turned the computer off without shuttin it down properly.
I sat there feeling kind of odd and had to go out and have a cigerette. the sound the guy was making haunts me to this day.
I would never post the link but if aybody wants to see it go to ogrish.com and search for "chechclear"
BUT I WARN YOU IT IS THE SICKEST, MOST HORRIFIC THING YOU WILL EVER SEE IN YOUR LIFE.

Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
When i was about 14 i was at the scene of a traffic accident, blood everywhere, victims screaming everywhere. My dad tried to help them and he saved a young girls life, but the memory of Blood flooding the floors of the car still sticks with me. I watched helplessly as two kids my own age bled dry.

And they do that over there all the time, as the Russian/Chechnyans have been fighting for a long time. I have a pit bull I named Chechnya, lol, and believe it or not I named him that after watching that video. Sick huh??? You're right, the sound he made I will also never forget, and when you see it you just keep thinking, this isn't a movie, this is real. You should see the other video and what they do to that guy, it's just as crazy. Anyways, I think we stole Brazilian Bombers thread, so apologies Bomber :) Slasher movies don't really get me anymore just cause' this stuff goes on for real everyday around the world. Though, I vote Jason the best movie slasher, part 1 and 2 ;D

Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
Yeah Leatherface was a freaky fucker alright...

Man I feel you on that bro'. I have played that game so many times it's ridiculous. That chainsaw dude freaked me out to the 1st time I saw him coming at me, the way he swings that thing around at you. Think I'll start playing it again today ;D

That was a good movie, but I'll tell you 2 that I really like. Wolf Creek and Hostel. Watched em' both many times. For the 1st 1/2 of Hostel I have a stiffy, the other 1/2 I want to hide somewhere. That dude in the room choppng people up in pieces before he throws them in the furnace freaked me out :o

Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
The movie that freaked me out the most in the last year or so was Inland Empire.

Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
Also Silence of the Lambs is still my favorite. Buffalo Bill really creeped me out and made me appreciate the art of sewing much more than I did ;D If you really want to get creeped out watch "Audition", a Japanese slasher movie. You'll never forget it!!!

Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
I was always scared of Venger in Dugeons and Dragons. :-[

Had completely forgotten about Hostel, good call!
I haven't seen the second though...I take it you recommend it?

Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
Honestly Donny I haven't seen part 2, but will get it on dvd soon. I always wonder if the sequels will be any better :-\ Off the subject a bit, but I can't wait for Eastern Promises to come out on dvd so I can get it. Heard there is a 4 minute long knife fight in the showers :o

I thought the first was good in cinema because of the pure shock factor....
I actually went to SAW4 instead of Eastern promises last Monday evening, but i heard good things about it so i may take another trip this weekend.
28 days later and 28 weeks ;ater are some good disturbing zombie flicks, but i guess they're very similar to all Zombie flicks...

Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
Yeah the 1st time I saw Hostel I was like, other than the hot chicks, the story was kind of dragging along slow and I was like, WTF ??? Then, it's like WTF!!!! Know what I mean? :D Sick thing was I sat there and wondered to myself......How would I off a person if I could pay to do it?? Pretty sick thoughts I had, but I never get tired of watching that movie. Watch that movie "Audition" and you will never forget it. When the chick throws up in the bowl and makes the guy eat it :P

Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
Yeahi was kinda like...Ok...i thought there was a lot of action in this, but then i was pretty stunned by some of the graphic stuff...
Ya i'll have a look for Audition...
If i was in Hostel, i guess i'd pay to have Frank Warren strapped to a chair, i'd force him to sit through all of Audleys fights, anmd the Skelton/Williams bores until he begged me to take him out of his misery with a baseball bat with a rusty nail in it.

:lolhaha: CC for that. Damn I notice alot of animosity for Warren on this board. I see you've put alot of thought into Warren's downfall and demise. Doesn't Frank promote some of those MMA guys in Elite XC? Also, for some reason I just thought of that movie Clockwork Orange. Surely you've seen that right? The 1st movie I saw that creeped me out.

That movie was messed up!!! I watched it and i was kinda lookin at the world differntly the morning after!!!!
Whoever writes that type of thing is either a genius or a victiom of some terrible abuse!!!
I think that Warren does promote some MMa guys, although i'm not very sure.
In fairness too him, he does look after his fighters, but he's showing a complete lack of respect for the fans and boxing history by putting big name fighters against poor opponents and then providing poor to very poor undercards...
I'd really dig a good atmospheric horror this weekend, not necessarily a blood n guts action packed gore fest, but something along the lines of the blair witch project...
Oh have u ever seen the Hitchcock film, "the birds," or "the frenzy?"
-
Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
I saw "The Birds" so many times I thought I was one. My mom loved that movie. Never saw Frenzy, or Blair Witch. 2 good movies are The Entity and The Changeling. Also, there is a good movie, old, with Donald Sutherland. I forget the damn name right now, but it's about his daughter dying and he thinks he sees her and is chasing all over Venice to find her. I always forget the name, but I'll try to find it. It's creepy.
-
Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
It's called "Don't Look Now".

Cool, thanks, il give those a look....
Big into my scary dvd's lately, after a weeks work n training it's cool to just collapse into bed and throw one on.

Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
You have probably seen these, but The Shining is a classic and one of my favorite movies of all time. When that kid is riding his damn toy through the halls I was terrrified{when I was younger}, an dit still gives me the creeps when I watch it. Also, the original When a Stranger Calls. One of the scariest scenes ever, when she's on the phone. ;)
-
Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
Haven't seen when a stranger calls, il give it a look.
For all out messed up creepiness, try the original Grudge or the Ring.
Honestly mayb it's the japaneese or maybe the camera work but i found those absolutley crazy scary!
-
Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
Never saw The Grudge, and The Ring didn't do anything for me; though my girlfriend was scared silly. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is still a classic, and I live out here near where it supposedly happened in real life. When Grandpa is hiting that chick in the head with the hammer is not only freaky scary, but funny too.

Yeah, it's an ATG horror.
It's scary as hell at the end where they show they actual footage of Thomas Hewitt. Not a pretty sight!

Texas Chainsaw Massacre is based loosely on Ed Gein, but that wasn't in Texas. The director of the original, Tobe Hooper, said he was standing in line at K-Mart or something and was near a display of chainsaws and briefly wondered what it would be like to start one up and hack his way up to the front.
There's a movie based on Ed Gein that should be available at Blockbuster. Psycho is also based loosely on him too. He had a very domineering mother who was deeply religious and once she died he went a little loopy, still hearing her persecuting him and he started making women into lampshades.

Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
Lol, I was always under the impression from people out here that it supposedly happened out near Ft.Worth, Tx. Guess I heard it when I was young and never thought to do any research on it, lmao. ::** Thanks Liquid By the way, the IFC channel has a movie named Gein or Ed Gein, saw it about a month ago, independent film. Pretty weird flick :o

His life story is covered briefly on youtube, he was warped!!!
They caught him easy in the end tho and he lived out his days in a nut house.

Re: Best Horror slashers, here you go.
A source told me that Child's Play and Poltergeist are being remade.
I'm not sure how I feel about this. Poltergeist is a personal favorite of mine, but I think a remake could be exciting.
Remaking Child's Play is a colossal waste of money. Money that should be put toward the national debt.

For Hitmandonny, I watched Hostel 2 last night. Pretty good actually. If you like soccer, you'll love the end, lol. ;D
