Been a while since i have seen a list i just want to hear who you think was the best in every divison.

Nice list Eagle CC i never really followed lower weight very well. Any of those fighters that you would recommend me to look up just to ask since i have not much knowledge lower then featherweight.

Look up Minimumweight Ricardo Lopez, absolute star. Carbajal and Tapia are great also, and Salvador Sanchez(especially the Gomez fight). Jofre and Wilde may be hard to find footage of because they fought a long time ago.

You know another place besides youtube because it seems they are lossing alot of fights latly.

Yea i will ask Wacko or Cut maybe Ice when he comes back. If anyone knows somwhere else to find fights i would be a huge favor to me if you told me the place you go for it.

I can't agree with these... Mayweather should be top 130, and there are guys who did more than Duran at 135 which include not being knocked out at the weight. Also SMW belongs to RJJ not Calzaghe, and LHW belongs to somebody else.

Also how the hell does mr140 have Holmes as the greatest heavyweight ever? What about Joe Louis or Ali? Where's Ray Robinson?

Teath Holmes is underated and was as good as Ali or Louis. Give me one reason Micheal should not be there a LH he was amazing at the weight. Calzaghe did more at SMW i not the only one that thinks so. And SRR you have me there i guess i think SRL beat better guys at the weight. And for the record who do you think not who is not everyone not going to be th same Teath why don;t you make a list. Because i am curse who you think is the best alright just a opinion and chill i was jsut stating my thoughts.

The reason i didnt have RJJ at 168 is because i only wanted one guy in each division. PBF would be a tough fight for anyone at 130 but i think Arguello deserves to be number 1. Which guys were better than Duran at LW?

Well eagle you could put Whitaker or Duran at lightweight or even Mayweather. I put shane becasue i think he one the greatest as well light weight fo me is a hard divison to call very close.

Yea good call Khan i put Micheal but i totally forgot about Archie Moore. But i still go with Spinks i think he could beat Archie Moore is pretty old school fighter but who knows.

It was a hard one cos i had to have RJJ in the list but wasnt exactly sure where. I wanted to find spots for Pep and SRL as well but couldnt. Some divisions are hard to split. Middleweight has Hagler, Hopkins, Monzon. LHW has Jones, Spinks, Moore. 140 has Tzsyu, Pryor, JCC and Hatton.
Shit all the divisions are hard to pick one from!!

Some are hard I can relate...Guys like Jones, Ray Robinson etc who were so good and fought is more then one weight class I usually leave off my list because they are P4P all time guys...It is unfair to the guys who accomplished so much at a different time....EG Roy is the greatest SMW I have ever witnessed but then Calzaghe gets the shaft yet he has the record for defenses and has been champion so long and has fought so many good fighters


It is like the old expression there was Ray Robinson then there was the rest :-\..Those guys were so good they are in a totally different catagory all together

But then there is Robinson i do not know list is hard that why i put who you think. Eagle i have to say i think Khoasai Galaxy was the best super fly made 19-20 defences.
and the best fighter of all time is either at welter or middle take your pick = Walker Smith.

My lists tend to change more times then often but for the most part it's always one of 2 names for a div. it's simply a matter of fighters you know or don't. I can't rate Greg, Benny or Langford cause I just haven't seen enough of them to rate them.

Truth is the WW division is a HARD!!!! one to pick because there have been so many greats at that weight...IMO the WW division may be the best div talent wise of all time...Leonard is among the top 3...again it depends on who's list though


Larry was without a top 5 HW...Him being better then a prime Ali is hard to swollow because Ali was a special kind of fighter he did not have one good thing in his prime he had everything about him that was good, speed, decent power, footwork etc...he did not need to rely on one certain thing as almost every other fighter...EG- one guy may have used his jab as his bread and butter ( Holmes who has te best jab of any HW ever)...another relied on speed and so on.....The only thing about Ali early on that could be questioned was his chin he went down a bit when he was young but also he was still growing into a full sized man....when he got older his chin was nothing short of granite,,,,

Larry came in a tough era,,,hard to follow up after the most loved HW of all time beat him then reign..no matter what you do it is never enough :-\....

IMO Larry would not have beaten a prime Ali, I would give it to him over Louis, Tyson prime for prime would have beaten him...Too fast to strong....Lennox would have outboxed him as well..

The one that is hard one is Middle weight I just Pick Monzon because i felt he could beat anyone at that weight.

But Hagler is very close it is a hard decision for me to make at that weight both were greats.

I also find LM a hard one since people tend to either go lower or higher from that weight. I put Tommy Hearns but then they are others hard choice to.

Cut me Mick's list is accurate, Went through lots of chips and beer Saturday and Sunday afternoons and in the seventies there were no VCRs but I had three television sets just in case and I would sometimes watch two fights at the same time but your list is on the money. CC

I know someone screwed my B-Day up, I bet theres an old as man somewhere in a club trying to be 25 and playing loud rap music in his brand new car. ;D

Agree with just about all of this, but do you really think Norris was better than Hearns?
