If Hatton puts on a great show win or loose on the 8th December, id say there is your opponent.

Re: Oscar looking to do big things....
......the winner of Cotto-Mosley or perhaps the winner of PBF-Hatton only if it's Hatton of course.
He may fight Margarito or Vernon Forrest too

Re: Oscar looking to do big things....
I am surprised people care about Oscar fighting. The guy is good and gives anyone a good fight, but he losses to the cream of the crop and he does not knock anyone out. Why do people care if he fights at dodgers stadium or even on a space station. He still does not excite. And about the fight tonight since I cannot find a prediction area. I pick Mosley to win. Cotto is a good fighter but his lack of a set style against a guy as good as Mosley is the key. Mosley will control this fight. This is like Hearns vs. Hill. Even though Hill was more accomplished than Cotto at that time, Hearns was the real deal and it showed in the ring. Mosley will stop Cotto on cuts in round 6 or 7 in a good showing.

Re: Oscar looking to do big things....
how can he knock out someone who runs from him the entire fight

I'd enjoy that, though I don't see Oscar trying to make that fight. Would be fun though, and I'd pay for it. I just want Margarito to keep fighting.

Re: Oscar looking to do big things....
Cotto or Margarito...I would be shocked if it was someone else.

....Paul Williams would be a good one but I can't see him signing up for that. Mosley-Williams would be GREAT!

ODLH -- what in the world he has done lately to deserve a chance for a big fight?
HE loose against.
Trinidad
Mosley twice
Looked BAD in his first fight at 160 (sorry forgot the guys name)
Hopkins (KO)
Floyd Mayweather ( booring fight PBF's fault)
Then he was not willing to fight Winky and goes after Mayorga a guy that Tito destroyed ( histoy repeating it self)
and goes fighting smaller boxers(HAtton, Cotto or any WW). But started a LIE saying that his wife didn't want for him to fight anothe Puerto Rican (Did not want part of Cotto)
Why is he so deserving of a Title? because he is the owner of Ring Magazine?, one of the top boxing promotion company?
BEcause in my book by Boxing lately he hasn't done that much. not to say crap

Honestly...I can't see Oscar fighting anyone other than Cotto, Hatton, Margarito, or a Floyd rematch.
If Floyd handles Hatton...I wouldn't be shocked to see the rematch. I know that many will sound off on that...but it did draw in a boatload of people & what shocked me was that during the bout they were still selling tickets for close to $300 to $400 at the 2nd round of the bout.
People were paying that for those tickets...& they were shit seats.

There have been numerous fights in baseball stadiums and they have been good ones too!
The Polo Grounds, Yankee Stadium, etc....I wouldn't mind seeing more of those happen it's old school

What did Oscar do to Mayorga and Vargas? Not to mention everyone except top ten p4p fighters, 3 of them becoming or being it at the time they fought him, and then also beating another one in Whitaker.

Re: Oscar looking to do big things....
The next big thing Oscar does is to come out of the closet with his cross dressing gay pillow time.

What am I supposed to say? I was wrong about a prediction. Big deal.. I still think that Oscar is not a guy who should be in superfights now. He wants to fight at Dodger Stadium and he is not a top fighter anymore..

The seating would be good at Dodger stadium you could get a good view from all over. They have concerts there all the time.

Re: Oscar looking to do big things....
Oscar willfight the elite fighters because he is OSCAR DE LA HOYA....if you want to make 20 million dollars you fight him, you'd be stupid not to as a fighter. Plus, he has always been competitive and could give every one of those welterweights out there all that they could handle. We haven't seen Oscar at welter in over 7 years, so we'll see what he's got left in the tank. Whoever he fights, its going to generate revenue and bring more fans in than any other fight that year.....like it or not.

I'm want of those that don't like it. I wish he fights Margarito and the winner of these 2 could fight the Winner of Cotto vs PBF/Hatton
