sultan ;)
it seems that peter cannot take an uppercut, and big vladdy has the best uppercuts in the HW division, if he decided to throw uppercuts he could end up having an easy fight with peter, unless the mccline incident was a fluke
i would still love to see him fight valuev the most tho
Sultan looks good against the big and slow and the old and slow he won't find old or slow on 2-23-08.out by rd 7
Chagaev is tough but he will find out fast he's not in with John Ruiz this will not be a SD or a MD Chagaev out before rd10
Peter: I think he will get dropped this time out by rd 7.
Maskaev He ain't getting younger and speed don't come with age.Out by rd 8
Valuev Has the reach, height and heavy hands and has no fear this will be the danger zone for Wlad.Wlad will test the chin of Valuev, but can Valuev be knocked out ? I hope we all find out soon.
Lennox Lewis out of retirement.
I got to agree with eagle on this one, lol. What will beat wlad is someone with heavy quick hands whose able to absorb a crapload of punishment, and I don't think any of those 5 choices would give wlad a hard fight. He already beat peter once, and I think he'd do it in an easier fashion this time around, sultan I think is to small and won't be able to absorb the punches wladdy dishes out, I've not seen enough of chagaev to comment on, but gettin a sd over ruiz is not that impressive. Maskaev's to old perhaps, and valuev to unskilled I think.
the heavyweight divison is woeful, vlads a good fighter zero drwing power though, he technical good power and a huge guy.... its a shame
Peter would be the hardest fight for Wlad, that much is clear.
But I don't see any heavyweight out there beating Wlad right now.
The best fighter is not even on your list, I think he is second best up to W.Klitschko....................................... ............Tony The Tiger Thompson. Nobody even talks about that guy, He is the real deal.Quote:

Valuev, no for obvious reasons although I would love to see him get k.o.'d and Wlad may be the only Heavy that can do it. Chagaev ..it was a toss up between him and Sultan, and I think Sultan should fight Chagaev winner get Wlad. You forgot about the guys in the tourney, Chambers style will give anyone problems, so I wouldve voted for him.
I just want Haye to step up now. He'll be a force and then Wladdy will have his hands full.
CC bro! Haye could be the next force at heavy. People question his chin, but he had to lose 2 stone for that fight. He looked powerful and quick when he stepped up against the No10 ranked Bonin. Wladdy wouldn't be able to cope IMO.Quote:

Out of the list Chagaev has a good chin and he's one of those guys who just keeps coming at you...IMO Wlad would eat him up though.
Sam Peter has been tested and I doubt he's going to do well in a rematch vs Wladimir...as manny Steward said before their fight "We're going to introduce Sam peter to big time boxing" and that's exactly what they did. With the jab getting better and better I can't see Sam going the distance OR knocking Wladimir down.
Oleg Maskaev doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell vs Wladimir or Vitali
Nicolay Valuev is a freakshow and Monte Barrett wobbled him, I doubt he'd last too long vs Wladimir.
The one person who is still out there that could bother Wlad is Corrie Sanders and it's because of his power, his quickness, his toughness, and he's already beaten Wladimir in a clear decisive way with no excuses....I think Wlad would still whip his ass in a rematch though
sam peter
The Tuaman would spark his puss. trust me ! 8)
You sure post alot of threads set up to plug Sultan dude, lol. I've not been that impressed with him, but I've only seen the fights with Austin, Mora, Briggs & Holyfield. If he's really THAT good that you think he can cause Wlad problems, can you recommend any of his fights that have shown it? I know you're a pretty big fan, so you must have seen something.Quote:
