Im not so sure without seeing him at heavy first. His speed and power could be used so much better I know that much.
For starters I think the word 'Great' get's thrown around a little too easily around here.
Greatness is pretty hard to measure I mean Wlad has a better chance at becomig a great BUT even his chances are very slim.
I think Haye can be one of the best Cruisers of his time, but you know how long of a rode he still has to cover until we start speaking of him as a 'great'?
It's tough. Haye has often said in interviews that he has no interest in unification or defences. It's WBC and out for him. I'm wondering if he's having second thoughts on this though.Quote:

the heavyweight division is weak at the moment and he could dominate.
Much like how Floyd Mayweather is destined for greatness through a much guided career, I feel Haye could attain similar achievements.
If he stayes away from the +235's he'll be as successfull as he wants to be :)
I honestly think that Haye could be the recognised Heavyweight Champion.
He can bang...I don't think his chin is that bad...but he does need to work on his defence.
Haye's style is to soften you up with the body shots and then grind down your defence. This will work well in Heavys and I say he is good enough to unify the division.
I'm genuinly excited about Haye!! And...he is fooking marketable! VERY IMPORTANT
He could be the guy to bring the Heavy's back into the limelight...no pressure ;)

Do you think Haye just walks through these guys?.......
and if he somehow did by chance there is Wlad who more then likely bangs harder then the lot!!!!!......And If Vitaly returned withjin the next 6 months ( a big IF) I certainly do not see Haye getting past him...and even with Hayes power he has zero chance of KOing Vitaly.....Sorry to pop your bubble but the division is not just waiting foir David Haye to come and slap them all senseless and take the belts at his leisure
Agreed with most of it,but Hayes had a HW fight against Tomasz Bonin before the Mormeck fight...Quote:

I think he do well against the American heavyweights but i think Wald will put his career to a stop. I seen Haye he is good but he is not Holyfield i would not give my hopes up i think he grabs a belt has a couple of defences and then calls it a day.
Also since when does being a good in a CW division well besides Holyfield but that comes around not to often and there is my 1000 post been nice at Saddo and i hope to have another 1000 thank you everyone for putting up me and i had a nice time.
I think the Americans would whip his ass: Chambers, Arreola, Banks, Witherspoon
Those guys will beat David Haye whenever they fight

Digressing a little here people but where's Skelton these days? Anyone think him and Haye should fight? ???
I would actually like Haye to fight Skelton. Just as a matter of establishing himself on ITV infront of millions of viewers. Would be a grea move for him. (I dunno how that works with Frank Warren etc... Promotion is not my strong point).Quote:

Of course you could slap a few bigger men on this list that David could handle but still considering the state of the division.... Not a bad resume.
I doubt Haye will be the savior of the Heavyweight division... I doubt any cruiser will these days (unless they introduce a super-cruiserweight division)
Let's hope so.Quote:

The HW is wide open at the moment without anyoutstanding fighters.
I think Haye has got a better chance than any of the youmg up and coming HW.
It will be interesting to see what weight he settles at as a HW.
If Haye ends up being the unified Heavweight Champion of the world I will cut off my left nut !!!
Too small and too chinny - if he becomes unified champ then the division has got even worse and I will concede defeat and start watching MMA full time
(sorry DHaye - I'm actually a fan !!!)
