O.k. Ice, maybe you can help. There was a young kat who got beat up pretty bad in a fight back in the 80's, a white kid, and after the fight when the corners were shaking hands, the cornerman{I think the kids dad} went ballistic and said the other guy had his gloves stuffing taken out and he could feel the knuckles. Supposedly the glloves were doctored or something strange with the gloves happened during a few days time. Sorry I forget the fighters names, but I think it was an undercard to a big fight. Did they ever really find out about the gloves or what happened. I think the "victim"{for lack of a better word} died in a car accident. Help me out on the names and maybe what really happened?

Billy Collins Jr. vs. Luis Resto.
I'm getting chills as I'm typing this cause I've seen the ending of the fight when Resto is shaking hands with Collins Sr. and Sr. righ away has suspision that something is up. A small comosion breaks out as Sr. begins to feel Restos glove Resto tries to pull his hand away from Sr. but it's too late Sr. immidiately calls on the commisioner and the piece of shit behind this cowardless act Panama begins to pull Resto away and even tries to make him leave the ring before they announce the winner. But they are told not to leave. You can here Panamas stupid ass in the back saying 'These are the gloves you gave us, these are the gloves you gave us' yeah! you fucken bastard but you removed some padding from them.
Really sad fight.
Both Panama & Luis were banned from boxing indefinetely.
Resto was convicted with assault, conspiracy and assual with a deadly weappon. He served 2 and half years in prison he was senteced for 3.
Matter a fact I just remembered that their this little short video about this fight I think they made an independent film on it.

I added more stuff to my previous post.
But in short the NYSAC did find that the gloves had been tampered with and as stated above both Panama & Luis were banned from boxing.
Which is why without a single doubt in my mind do I doubt that he did put something in Aarons drink.

I know Tyson making an earlobe sandwich courtesy of Evander really took me off my game. I curled up like a doodlebug when I saw him spit it out. For the record I think Fan Man was just an attention whore and Oliver was just....well.....not feeling too well that night. :-\

I would love to know to what extent the 'sport' is rigged. Ridiculous decisions by judges, drug use, loaded gloves, nit picking opponents: we all know that there is a lot of foul play in boxing. I would love to know just who's pockets are getting lined when a well-deserved victory goes right out the window because too much money stands to be lost if the deserving fighter wins.
