Fernando Vargas and Ricardo Mayorga were kept apart by plexiglass at their press conference. Is this a publicity stunt or what? Seems kinda childish to me. And anyway a fight at the press conference would be more exciting than the actual boxing match IMO.
Vargas and Mayorga are both shot. But the fight will be exciting. It's almost a can't miss. I'll be watching it
Both Mayorga and Vargas like to Hype up fights and they are the best at it. After the fight they will congratulate each other and show sportmanship.
It's a ploy but to be honest it's one of the better ones. For one press conference they had them in cages or something. It's better then just using countless press conference fights as a ploy.

Both fighters vowed to knock each other out when they meet in a highly anticipated PPV showdown on the day after Thanksgiving. Security had a stuggle keeping the plexiglass in place as the fighters tried to push it out of the way to get at each other.Mayorga holding a photo of a chunky Vargas over his crotch, said "I'm going to knock him out. I hate him. I don't like him. I'm going to knock him out....I'm going to hit you like no man ever hit you before. I bet a million dollars at the casino that I'm going to win by KO....I'm not going to celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday because I'm going to kill my fat turkey on Friday.....You're not going to remember anything until you wake up in the hospital the next day after I beat you down."Vargas holding his crotch stated, "This is your fat one.....I'm going to put you to sleep." After taking off his shirt, Vargas kept repeating "Who's the fata-- now? Who's the fata-- now?" 'El Feroz' had a whole slew of supporters repeatedly yelling at Mayorga 'he wants to cry.' "He looked like he saw a ghost when I took off my shirt," said Vargas later. "You could tell in his eyes and his face that he's scared of me now. The eyes never lie."
