Best Movies to watch stoned

I was having a debate about this the other day there are loads of films you have to watch stoned

1. Anchorman - funniest movie ever!

2. Transformers - its probably shit sober but watch it stoned and my god its amazing the bit where the transformers are hiding outside that kids place was fucking hysterical theres 200 foot killer robots hiding from that kids parents it was blowing my fucking mind, its the stupidest storyline ever but it rocks not to mention the Megan Fox factor.

3. Hot fuzz - Hilarious movie and the only movie I know that was about Gloucester my home :), the bid with the point break impression had me in tears genius.

4. The Roger Moore Bond films - Best moments best one liners

5. Warrior King - Tony Jaa kickboxing I have no idea what the story is about something to do with rescueing an Elephant anyway fast forward about and hour and watch the fight scenes amazing no bullshit cables or CGI fucking insane fighting.

Pretty much any movie is fun to watch while baked but my favorites are as follows

1. Dazed and Confused - one of the best movies of the 1990's

2. National Lampoon's Fraternity Vacation - an attrocious movie so bad it's the best thing ever

3. Point Break - one line says it all "...they only live to get radical"

Kung Pow: Enter the Fist is a pretty damn funny movie to watch as well

I have never been "stoned" in my life, but I would guess that Natural Born Killers would be a good one. Or anything by David Lynch.

I smoked pot once in my life and it made me so ill I never did it again. But, I did trip a few times, and frying acid and watching Natural Born Killers, The Doors, Private Parts and Apacolypse Now was quite entertaining. Whooooooooooo-hoooooooooooooo what a roller coaster ride!!

Clerks II???


Anything funny or anything with tons of violence and special effects is good but it can't be serious....like Reservoir Dogs is good but Black Hawk Down is too serious.....Lock Stock is good but Saving Private Ryan is too serious, it's a big Donny downer when everyone dies and you have emotional attachment to them....but when the character is not made emotional it's hilarious.

If there is a war movie to watch while stoned it's Apocalypse Now which is actually the film version of Heart of Darkness, a very good book

Pretty much any movie I like sober, I will like high. Though I have even been entertained by some movies while high that I would not have even watched if I wasnt. But I usually only watch good movies.

I just saw "No Country for Old Men" based on the Cormac Mccarthy novel, directed by cohen brothers. All experts at what they do. It was a great film.

It had one of the top villains I have ever seen in a movie, up there with Hannibal Lecter and Kaiser Soze.

It is a gritty movie, visceral violence. Along with "3:10 to Yuma" it is my favorite movie I have seen this year.

I completely forgot about Evil Dead 2 "Dead by Dawn" lol its supposed to be a scary movie but its one of the funniest movies ever......on weed.

Friday, scanner darkley ( the movie almost makes sense after a blunt or two ), superbad, knocked up.

Haha, I actually thought that might be one you liked Lyle ;) I haven't seen it in years but I surely remember it :laugh: Kubrick was a genius and like you said, they're all good. The Shining is one of my top 10 favorites. The little girls in the hall, that 3 wheeler that kid rode around was creepy, Jack being Jack, lol, Scatman Crothers was a cool mother f#ckin' kat, and Shelly Duvall was just.......odd; to be kind :-\ I think I'm going to watch it tonight ;D Best part is when Jack is at the table and dumbell Duvall comes up to him asking how his work is coming along. He freaks out and starts typing on the keys with that weird grin on his face :laugh:

2001 is great too...the scenery is just awesome
