So, my Fiance decides to spring a surprise on me for my birthday. She's booked us a weekend away in Devon......next bloody weekend. I'll be staying in a small town called Ashburton. Does anybody know the place or if I will even have a remote chance of seeing the fight there?
This is so depressing :'( , to make matter worse my other half knows i'm not impressed that we're going, especially after I asked her if I could swap the weekend for a Wii :(

Lol, I've been going on all year about wanting this fight to happen and told her I was chuffed when the date was set. She completely forgot and has paid out £400 so I can't cancel. I'll have to see if I can find anywhere showing this.
As has been said, I'm in the UK and win or lose, I won't be able to avoid finding out :(

Well if all solutions to watching the fight fall through and you just have to miss out, i'd be asking for a damn good weekend..
i.e. foot massages, cold beers on request & sex all weekend... You're trading in the biggest fight of the year so she needs to definetly put more up from her end....
I have absolutely no chance of seeing this fight on the other hand, and also don't have a lady dragging me away from it that I can bribe so if all else, your one nice weekend away up on me come December 8th

I almost got the same problem. I finish 2:30am and I work about an hour from where I live. Luckily however, there's an after hours place literally 2 mins down the road so I'll be in plenty of time, and high spirits to catch the fight. Plus I'm in 6:30pm the day after so plenty of celebration drinkin time.
Surely there's a place down there that'll be showing the fight? Do some networking buddy, ring round the pubs down that end I'm sure you'll find somewhere to see it.
