He beat Kostya Tzsyu when he was No.1 P4P and if he beats Floyd Mayweather who is the current P4P then there can be no denying Ricky Hatton is the No.1 in the World.
Tszyu was never P4P number 1, and as for Hatton beating Mayweather he will go to number 2 or 3 i believe.Quote:

I personally rate Manny as No.1 right now.
Im not sure how high he was but i know he wasn't P4P number 1 he never really beat any great names his opposition was mostly decent at best.Quote:

But yes a good arguement can always be made for manny and you'd be hard pressed to find someone that could give a rebutle to the contrary! ;)
Based on what. In 2008, not once has Manny looked like the best fighter in the world. Hate his guts, but how anyone can argue against Floyd is beyond me.Quote:

Only a British fighter could beat P4P #2 then P4P #1 in 2 years and then not be considered the p4p #1 himself. Sorry but it seems ludicrous there could be any other choice when you put it in them terms.
yep its got to be said he will of done enough when you put it like that
C'MON RICKY CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT PBF HAS 2 SAY AFTER HE'S BEEN BEATEN.
DMAN IT MOM!!!!!!! ;DQuote:

But for the moment the winner of Hatton-Mayweather will probably be number one, but that position wont hold for long imo.
IMO If you beat the P4P Number 1, you surely must become P4P number 1 - how could you not??
You have proved you are better than P4P Number 1 therefore you must = P4P Number 1
He beat Kostya who was in the top 5 pound for pound, beat castillo who and i could b wrong was just outside the pond for pound,11 or 12,so if he beats the number 1 then of course he is gonna b number 1......,plus he's undefeated..any1 that begs to differ, either hates hatton or doesnt hav a clue about boxing...
It depends if you rate Floyd p4p number 1 or not . They say he is universally recognised as such but I cant give him that title cuz of the guys he's fought . Its either Hopkins or Calzaghe . Floyds top 3 but I dont think he can beat Hatton
floyd is number 1,simple as that, most fans, magazines ,boxers and the boxing community hav him as number 1,so beating him makes u number 1,even if he was number 2 and ricky beat him then i still think he would go up to number 1...i really dont c how any1 can beg to differ...,floyd has never lost and to be the best then u beat the best....
Many people thought he lost to a washed up De La Hoya and a limited Castillo.Quote:

:coolclick: for the list Fenster, i'm suprsied J M Marquez was on the list back then I thought he didn't really become a p4p star until the Barrera win. Also Glen Johnson at number 10. I guess it must have been following his win over Tarver but still I would never have considered Johnson a p4p star at any time.Quote:

Calzaghe has fought 1 good opponent in 44 and you say he is P4P number 1 :o, No can do.Quote:

If Hatton wins, he has to be No.1. It would be possible to beat the No.1 and not become No.1 yourself, like say if the No.1 went up a division to far and fought a big guy (if ODLH had beaten PBF in a close contest or by overpowering him, I wouldn't have considered him No.1).Quote:
